Hello, I actually came up with this trick in 2006 and showed the Buck twins how to do it. Really good trick but you don't need to slice a card. It can be done with any card. I do like your method too, mine is a little different but the trick is the same. I have a performance vid on my channel called One Up.

If I was going to do something like this, I wouldn't need to force a card. all would say is, "Do you want to see something amazing. I would then spring the cards and when I am done, all the cards would alternate face up and face down. I wonder how, or even if, it could be done.

I got a deck with the score down the middle...makes the Mercury fold much cleaner. This just ruins a card each time you perform it. Pointless.
@Punishment_for_Decadence6 жыл бұрын
After you perform it, you just put the gimmicked cards in your card wallet. When you want to perform it again, you just swap in the gimmicked cards to the deck. It won't "ruin" a card each time
@jangray3956 жыл бұрын
If you are a worker, you'll have cards aside for ruining. Don't be an ungracious, cheeky prick. It isn't pointless, your small minded attitude is. (Oh and i can do a mercury fold without needing to be babied with special cards, before you start. )
@barrytaylor25606 жыл бұрын
King Robert not as pointless as your comment. P.s. if you have to score a card to perform a mercury fold, this speaks volumes about your card skills.
@kingrobert1st6 жыл бұрын
@@barrytaylor2560 Yep I don't rely on card skills to perform. I'm not really a card magician. I rely on my wit, charm, spontaneity and and my connection with the audience to perform magic. I was given the scored deck by the magician who markets it. Never bothered to use it. I have better tricks. Goodbye.
@kingrobert1st6 жыл бұрын
@@jangray395 Are you insulting me (King Robert)? I will return the compliment and call you a judgemental prick. Never liked magicians. I even thought the trick was pointless. Having to put a fold in a card just to make it flip over. I have a deck of folded cards but I never use them. I also got a condom in my wallet. I never used that either. Maybe your parents should have. Touché.
