Really a perfect false shuffle ? I'm a beginner and I'm not convinced, there are better false shuffles ! It lookes like a bad Zarrow Shuffle. Sorry.

Here's the problem. There are ZERO shuffles wherein the cards are put horizontally on the table like this with the hands on top that are convincing. 100% of the time this position is taken, there are false shuffles going on. Period.

So if I legitimately shuffle like that guess I will fool you. I do agree with your assessment that this is artificial. It's for the move monkeys but not one I would use to a laymen. People just don't shuffle like that and especially with the injog. That is a major tell. The original from forte and MB (Miami) just start as a regular position without the zigzag. I would do this as a legitimate shuffle bc nobody ever does this. It's a nice flourish.

@@g0t2 You wouldn't necessarily fool me; but I would immediately be burning your hands and watching you x100. In any case, there are so many card controls that don't need this lame setup.
