This is a pure enthusiast's dream car. There's something raw and thrilling about a naturally aspirated engine pulling to redline that just doesn't exist in cars anymore. Look at that dash... just basic gauges, no screens, bluetooth or carplay. Just you, the shifter and the road.

They don't them like this anymore. For better or worse. For me the Ferrari 355 and this, the 550 are peak Ferrari design. Beautiful, elegant looking cars. They went through a blobby phase (360, 430 et al) and now everything is just over-wrought and fussy.

From my own experience (my car was test mule for fit and installation of the first tuned exhaust for a 550 in the world), OEM 550 valve-actuated exhaust silencers out-performs "Tubi penis" noise makers by 10-15% based on US Patent 5,301,503. I owned my 550 for 18 years and put 75,000 miles on it. Nobody wants it- yet- at $89,000, as is
