Hey Luke, drove to Dijon on 23 August the afternoon before a track day. When we drove away from the track we were followed for more than 40km to our hotel by a mystery orange car. Upon arrival, the driver parked outside and walked into the hotel grounds and explained: "I saw the 599 GTO and 695 Biposto video from Cars with Luke, and read the article by Car Journalism. Followed you here. May I please take some photos?. The guy was a total gentleman, and of course we invited him to take as many photos as he wanted. Cool thing is, he had seen your video and had read Ward's blog - and then, magically, there was the GTO in his neighbourhood.

That's an incredible work that you've done here. Love the 599 spec on the biposto, these 2 cars are soo amazing -> Abarth for daily and Ferrari for roadtrips ;) Maybe a little more of onboard action would be cool, specially on this beautiful pass ! But congratulations, added to favs

It is legit. The badge and extra bhp I mean. This 599 has an extra 40thou off the head at the factory. So compression ratio is higher than the standard 11.9:1 at 14.1:1 and so 690bhp is an estimate. Was not measured on a dynamometer.

+scuderiabianco just the badge looks a bit jokey to be official Ferrari.never seen or heard of any other car having a 1/1 badge even claptons one offs don't have this and he's been there loyalist customer since the 70s.even the corsa clienti customers who sponsor the f1 team and get get first option on all the ltd edition cars and fxxk programme don't get this treatment but bravo to the owner who sounds British if he's got such a good relationship at his age with marenello

Thanks Kevin! Yeah he does cut them a bit I must admit but I can assure you from where we were sat you can see very far ahead on all the corners otherwise i'm sure he would never do it. I also drove bikes for years so I totally understand what you mean :-)

Oh and Just to add dude, Iv'e had so many bikers come around corners on my side of the road...just saying ;-)

I always pull over and let the bikes go by ... I also keep a close watch and never cut corners if there are motorcycles coming down. The beauty of Grimsel is you can see far far ahead up and down the road.

Yeah sure, there are idiots on all types of vehicles. If you're driving a mountain pass with nice curves, why not enjoy the corners as they are? No need to cut them and make them less curvy... :D
