Those SV's driving up and down Sloan Street back in 2008 or so(mainly that matte purple one) really changed my whole outlook on cars. To this day, the SV holds such a warm spot in my heart. Thanks for the content, Sam.

The Murci SV is such a special car. There's a reason Evo magazine took it on that modern classics test along with the likes of a CGT, F1, Zonda and F40 etc. My favourite Lambo of all time and I'd choose it in a heartbeat over that 599!

Yep after I heard the lp 670 r-sv GT1 the murci is my favorite v12 supercar from that era

The Murci is a 1% car which is what a supercar should be. And also an Athena poster car, if you see see one on the road they look so wide and low, especially in black or dark grey. Also the standard 640 looks so wedge shaped without all the stupid over styled add ons of the Huracan or Aventador. Gallardo and Murci ... both perfect wedge shaped dream cars. They have their faults, but have a charm because of that. The Italian TVR to the Ferrari....

Almost any 50's to 70's era V12 has these beaten on noise - especially those with 1 choke per cylibder The induction noise on multi carb applications adds so much to the mix that modern stuff simply doesn't often have. Best sounding V12 btw is probably McLaren F1 (with ITB's making a similar noise to carbs)

Of these i would have the GTO. But i'd take a manual Murcielago over any of them. Even the original Murcielago with 580 hp. I think you should test the first gen. Murcielago just to check it out. Nice video as always. And so good to see a new video. Keep up the great work.

Nice video Sam. The SV sounds and looks incredible. The SV is 2088mm wide. Would be challenging on most UK roads. A great car for special occasions. The Performante is the first Lambo that you can use every day and it also sounds pretty good!

I remember back in the days reading tons of articles comparing those two, with no possible conclusion, and dreaming of that sight. I'm really happy to see it happen here ! I don't know which one I'd choose, I'd say that I need to drive them back to back to know, but I'm sure it wouldn't help. I think it's the kind of comparison where your pick would change everyday, it is so insane, the two cars are brilliant but so different, yet so close on some points, it's really a hard pick. Well, guess you need both ! Sam, you and I are very similar in our love for Ferrari and I will admit that Lamborghini just don't do it for me. However, 'poster car' they look, I just can't get excited. I had the opportunity to switch between riding in a 599GTO and a F12 TDF. The GTO is definitely not as refined as the TDF but they are amazing cars to be included in any collection. Fortunately the collector has an affinity towards Ferrari V12. Love the video. Thank you for the distraction these days.
