Ferrari Dino 246 GT Classic Car Review - Back from Restoration

A lot of Ferrari purists feel the Dino is not a Ferrari. It doesn’t have a Ferrari badge & it doesn’t have a typical Ferrari engine. But in my opinion it’s every bit a Ferrari given it’s heritage, being named in tribute to the old mans son whom he lost at far too young an age. If anything, it’s like an SP Ferrari or a Limited Edition. It was built in the factory by the same hands & same tools as all the other great Ferrari’s of that era. So yes,the Dino IS a Ferrari. Viva Dino!!

and it runs tires to narrow to handle…, 3 carbs difficult to keep synced much less clean….with an ignition system just capable of firing the plugs until it finally burns out. I think the 246 GTS IS the prettiest Ferrari it was just engineered 40 years too soon! 200hp just isn’t enough period.
