One of the most beautiful cars of all time in my opinion! And yes; it's nice to appreciate it as a Dino not just as a Ferrari. Looks superb in Marenello yellow too! Another great video; thanks for posting.

And the ones after 208 GTB/GTS and Ferrari 288 GTO always by the same designer Leonardo Fioravanti and Pininfarina..the yellow is “Modena”..Maranello where there is the factory is a little town next to Modena, Enzo Ferrari was born in Modena

Another great 246 example from Coleen! Thx. Please keep finding them for sale. I became a fan of this model when i saw it in a couple of 80’s movies. Saw my first in person in 1997 and it was out of my price range at $50k. I know.. if only…

Beautiful car! These were totally off my radar years ago, since I was so focused on the 308 and 328. Wish I had paid more attention to the 246 when they were still affordable! I think the GT4 is starting on a similar trajectory and getting more of the same "late appreciation" that came to the 246.

I really wish insecure owners would resist putting Ferrari badges on Dino’s. Those that know, know. The rest don’t matter. It’s convenient to emphasize the 12 cylinder story but let’s not forget Enzo was honoring his deceased son by putting his name exclusively on the car. In that way his name would live on. Nobody should override that decision.

Agree 100% today, but we have to understand how the early history of the 246 Dino, and its regard by “true” Ferrari owners, created the motive to belong to the club. For example, at the Philadelphia Ferrari Club events I attended in the late 1980’s (with my blue Euro 308QV,) the pecking order among the owners was palpable. At these events, the locally owned Sunoco blue 365 GT/4 Daytona of Yates/Gurney Cannonball fame was always the king at those events because of its history. Lussos and other older V12’s earned everyone’s respect, and the occasional 400 or 412 four-seater V12’s were curiosities. The BB512 people were proud of their efforts Pinin Farina mid-engined boxer V12’s as the vision of Ferrari’s future. Then followed the 308 group with cars like mine - mid-engined V-8’s that, like the BB and the 288 GTO, were clearly Ferraris of the era. The “poor cousins” were the 246 Dino owners: they carried off the “shine and show” just like all the “real” Ferrari owners, but everybody knew that a car with a V-6 designed in the ‘60’s and with no Ferrari badges was the entry-level car at these Philadelphia gatherings. Prices showed it: a Dino could be bought for 1/2 the price of a 308. I have no argument with Dino valuations today - it’s a beautiful car. But it’s come a long way in the “Ferrari pecking order” from my early days of Ferrari ownership.

Beautiful. Only a word : beautiful. With an engine of only six V cylinders and 2.418 cc represented the entry level model to Ferrari world for many years. Body designed by engineer Leonardo Fioravanti. Engine used in other Italian models (Lancia Stratos -rally queen-, Fiat Dino Coupe and Fiat Dino Spyder)

You can really see how the Dino influenced the design of the 308. It might be one of the more important and significant Ferraris ever made.

Hinting towards a 'controversy' may sound interesting to Americans. But the only reason this is called a 'Dino', is because it is his legacy. The twelve cylinder 'thing' honestly sounds like you don't really understand the sentimental value this car has for Enzo Ferrari. BTW: what does your father think about your tattoo's?
