I do believe that's auto focus following the cars into foreground, then refocusing automatically on the background before the next car enters frame. Agreeably it's irritating, but it's automatic.

Because we all knew if you bought your Ferrari yellow you know nothing about driving and the history of colours. German cars should be white or silver. French cars should be blue. Italian Cars should be red. British cars should be Green.
