I wouldn't know what each component is called, let alone what they do. I can some actuators are moving, some are not, but I wouldn't know what is normal. You impress me with your willingness to dig deep into your car and your ability to diagnose the problem.

My buddy has same issue but his car drops out of gear when hot, after it cools down it goes back into gear. after 30 mins or so..
