With regards to the washers, how friendly is the your mot guy as I believe it has to have washers for xenons. If it will pass without them, I'd smooth them out.

You'll need the washers for MOT reasons. HID headlights need to have a functioning level sensor and wash mechanism.

I swear those washer caps are the same as the 406 coupe ones! Exact same shape and the “fold” is identical. Would make sense as the coupe was built by pininfarina.
