Ferrari F40 1987 Promo Video.

In 1987, the Japanese Magazine "Car Graphic" was asked to make a promo video for Ferrari's new top of the line F40 model. This model was to be the last made under the direct supervision of Mr. Enzo Ferrari himself.
It featured a 3 Liter 478HP Mid Mounted Twin Turbo V8, a Carbon/Kevlar/Aluminum Body, and a 201MPH Top Speed, making it the first production car to break the 200MPH barrier.
Although the original plan was to make 499 F40's, potential buyer interest due to the mystique of being Enzo's "last" earmarked the car to over 1300 build units, making it one of the most profitable cars in Ferrari's history.
This video was made on the outskirts/within the gates of Maranello itself - the home of Ferrari. It is not my own personal footage, and the video is not monetized. It is for historical purposes only.

What's so amazing is how timeless the car is. If you drove it down the streets, or on the highways of any city around the world, jaws would drop, and everyone would have their cell phone in hand taking video and pictures of it. This car is on my list as a must have.

The subs in this vid aren't a 100% accurate translation of what Enzo Ferrari says. Here's a proper translation: 1: "Eh, I remember that, in 1912, I saw a picture, on the illustrated press that was published back then in Turin, of Raffaele di Palma, and it seems to me that he won, at that time, the Indianapolis 500. I said to myself: "This guy is Italian. Why, one day, couldn't I be a car pilot too?" This is the most beautiful video ever. True feelings, i have listened to this for years, this is so much more than a car, it is a feeling and we all want it because it is who really are. I can't get enough of my f40 and my wife and our kids, to live life that i live is such a dream come true for so many, however this feeling is accessible to everyone, the feeling i felt this, much before i was able to manifest it physically in my life.
