FERRARI STRATEGY IS DUMB!! First Reaction to F1 2022 HUNGARY GRAND PRIX

Leclerc had a horrible strategy done to him... he was starting on mediums and everyone thought it would be a two stops, Ferrari opted for another set of mediums on the first stop and hards on the second stop but the weather was very cool in comparison to what's normal in Hungary because of the cloudy and misty weather so there's no way hards would work. Thus the last stop for softs in hopes of... well who knows, lol, the fastest lap maybe. But the two main strategies were Medium-Medium-Soft or Soft-Medium-Medium, the Alpine tried hards before Leclerc stopped and it was obvious hards were the wrong choice by looking at the pace the Alpine cars had but leave it to Ferrari to do their own thing to mess everything up when they could've easily won this one or at least be in the podium! As for Max, he had clutch issues almost since the start of the race, apparently that's what led to the weird spin but thankfully for him he only lost a place to Leclerc and was pointing in the right way to keep going right away otherwise we might've had a Hamilton win since Leclerc was going nowhere at that point.

Pirelli always makes strategies before the races. Medium - Medium - Hard wasn't one of them. It litterally wasn't even a strategy.

Despite Ferrari continuously ruining Charles race what’s worse is Binotto saying Charles is only fast because of tyres and car Charles has to leave that team ASAP it’s clear they don’t respect him at this point

9:24 they pitted him to early and then put him on hards that weren’t working for anyone even Pirelli said the hards weren’t good for the race and shortly after they pit him again joke of a team

Yep, only Lando seemed to be able to get them to work in anyway and even he was lucky that the Alpines made the same mistake behind him.

I really like how you are growing into this sport so fast and with so much enthousiasm! And you are one of the very very few who pronounces the name of VER the right way! 5:00 you're already so familiar to the usual aspects and strategies that even you 'as a rookie' have a grin with 'Ferrari f*cked up again'. Very enjoyable to see! As a dutchie it is a good time to be VER fan, but it saddens LEC is screwed by his team. You have to see Dutch GP in September and see the fantastic ambiance by that time. It all started with Ferrari not giving team orders while Leclerc was faster than Sainz...so when Sainz pitted,Leclerc did what any other driver would do...he was faster so he stayed on track doing fast laps so when he stops he would come out of the pits ahead of Sainz...It worked! But on the second stint Ferrari called him in too early...he should've extended his stint on the 2nd mediums that could clearly last 30 laps...then he could go to the softs and do 18 laps on it..he would come out behind Russell after he stopped? yeah, but he would be faster and would overtake him again...Ferrari tried to cover Russell instead,even knowing that they couldn't go to mediums again and they couldn't go to the softs at that point of that race cuz they wouldn't last till the end...but their genius minds found a "solution" for this and went to hards which none of the top runners were willing to 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Ferrari cant read a fkn race...it seems like they're just desperate discussing what they're gonna do all the time and ends up doing shit like this..and it seems that they dont believe in their drivers either 😂

Carlos had for once a good strategy, he was just slow. Same Strategy as Hamilton. Medium, Medium, Soft. You were wondering why Sainz and Lewis dropped. They dropped because they stood out longer for the second stop so they can get the softs whereas Russell, Verstappen, Pérez pitted earlier and they've gone on the mediums

Even the drivers in the cool down room that had no idea of how the tyres exactly worked compared to the people in the pit thought that the strategy that ferrari made was weird. Red Bull orginally had a strategy that consisted of starting on Hard but when they drove to the line both the drivers realized that would be impossible because they barely had grip on softs so they changed their whole strategy instantly and somehow still made a better strategy than Ferrari.

Ferrari didn't do anything to Sainz, Sainz was on the same strategy as Hamilton. He just didn't have the pace. And the strategy for Leclerc looks worse than it actually was. Alpine was doing pretty well on the hard tyre, Leclerc was just unexpectedly slow. Ferrari got forced in the position to cover Verstappen and with 30 laps still to race they couldn't go on the soft tyre yet and had to switch to the hard tyre. It was their only chance to still hold off Verstappen.
