I don't think this has been out of control, I think if anything it has been over constrained in that only what was right was good enough to stay on the car. I applaud this build as a very safe and uncomprimised attitude towards the current spec which I expect to evolve following further input from the testing and racing.

100% honest... I was dreading the livery. It looks so cool in white. Then I saw it. Close enough to retro Malboro liveries to be drop dead cool yet fresh enough to be unique and even more gorgeous than plain white. Be careful with Ferrari (remember the oegal stopping of the Eleanor build?) But I love it. Great engine choice and build. I want it so bad!

Good lord, that red on the livery is *bright*. It's absolutely maxxing out the saturation capabilities on my screen so I just know it's gotta be even more vibrant in person. Livery looks great. Definitely very old school sci-fi and im sure there's a ton of little tiny details to discover in person. Glad session #2 just had some minor teething issues again, and that (it seems like anyway) the shipping process was fairly straightforward. Excited for all the other content to come!

I caught a quick glimpse before the ad break and gasped. I LOVE that the quattro livery was taken from retro-futuristic to something of a cyberpunk style, matched well with how the retro lines of the 308 have evolved. I'm in love!!

Looks like a relatively rough track, but testing somewhere with kerbs on the corners or rough sections might be a good idea to see how the bump steer/castor and unsprung weight feels.

In the vid you mentioned Sydney Motorsport park which is Eastern Creek Raceway if I'm not mistaken. I live at Mt. Panorama, Bathurst so only 2hrs away so I'll try to make the effort to go check it out. I've been following the build for a while now so to get the chance to actually see it is cool. Tubes are strong in compression, and tension. Tubes are weak in bending. Stabbing compression loads into the Ferrari frame where oem had no plans for it invites complications.

This is take it or leave it advice, but since you have a sequential shifter you should consider left foot braking it would eliminate the need for heel toe shifting.

Gosh this is such a gorgeous build, and wonderful livery. I absolutely love the theme behind it. I just stumbled across this project this evening, so I've only seen a few videos so far, but I'm loving the attention to details and thoughtful design decisions, the open discussion and explanations you provide, how much you're DIYing, even down to the little things, striving for quality. While I'm not super keen on the choice of such a beautiful, well-kept donor car for this build, nor swapping in a K-series (though I otherwise am eager to work with that engine platform) in to a Ferrari, it's honestly a thrilling project that I feel is sort of reigniting my interest and passion for custom fabrication and motorsports work. I almost wish I could look in to working with your crew, if this is the kind of work you aim for - not to get too dark, but I've been struggling to find enjoyment in life for quite a while, however this project has been so wonderful to (belatedly) follow along and think about. Unfortunately, I'm currently living on the opposite side of the country! Nonetheless, I really appreciate the inspiration and close look in to the development of this beautiful car.

Mike, make sure you have adequate insurance when its in cargo. Buy as much as you can get. Valuing this will be near impossible by transit carriers so try and get a dollar value policy. Cars get damaged in containers all the time and can easily get lost. Hoping for a safe trip for you and the car.

Just a tip, the same Aluminum tape they use to keep the wheel weights secured to the wheels, if stuck around the exhuast tips, it will help with the exhaust scorching the bumper
