I still remember seeing Tica four years ago. I had never seen a snakehead fish as cute and beautiful as Tica. The snakehead fish I usually see are big, scary, and aggressive, but Tica is like a little princess-shy and adorable.❤

Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤️ I’m glad Tica has made such a lasting impression on you. She truly has a unique personality that sets her apart from the typical snakehead fish!

I learned about snakehead fish because of Ferret Wonderland. I searched many aquariums in my country, but they all said they didn’t have a breed as small as Tica. I really envy that you can have her, and I also envy Tica for having such wonderful owners like you, who built her a beautiful tank.🎉💕

SOOOOO GOOOOOOODDD. I love the selection of miniature orchids. I personally believe they look much better than large plants because they keep a proper scale and trick the eye into thinking this landscape is much more natural/realistic. Or at least that a mix of large/small plants is best since this is what we see in nature :)

words cannot express how much i admire your work. i have been keeping fish for a few years with planted tank. learned a lot about aquatic plants and aqua scape. done river bank theme scape, forest theme scape, mountain scape and iwagumi scape. recently discovered Channa and would love to get into keeping them. while researching about channa, stumbled upon your channel... fell deeply in love with your work... im inspired to create a terrarium + aquarium tank for my very first channa... a 90 X 40 X 40 tank is ordered!

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! I'm beyond flattered and thrilled that my work has inspired you. Your journey with aquascaping sounds amazing, and I’m so excited to hear that you’re venturing into keeping Channa. A 90 x 40 x 40 tank sounds like the perfect size for your first Channa setup! I can’t wait to see how it turns out-I'm sure it will be beautiful! Best of luck with your new project!

@@ferretwonderland i have some questions hoping you could answer. i see you use pots for the planting and i wonder if the roots of those plants would rot as they are constantly soaked in water. most house plants do not require much of watering, let alone soaked in water, even if it's moving water. do you have a list of plants that could thrive in this condition? or plants that should be avoided? The only plants that i know could live in this condition as i currently have them growing on top of my tanks are Spurflower and pothos. thanks in advance

Watching your fish reminded me of my own snakehead, which I unexpectedly caught while catching wild guppies. He was sooo tiny, and I decided to keep him, not knowing they get big. I raised him for two years, but he eventually got too big for my tank, so I released him back where I caught him. I miss him so much.
@ferretwonderland2 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience! Snakeheads are fascinating creatures, and it’s amazing that you raised yours for two years. It must have been a tough decision to release him, but it’s great that you gave him the chance to thrive in his natural habitat. I can see how much you cared for him!

¡Saludos!

I'm using a type of board called '珍珠板' in Taiwan! It's great for various projects. If you're looking for something similar in Singapore, you might try searching for 'pearl board' or 'foam board' at local craft stores.
