I've had my Ferris since 2009 a ISO 2000Z with 320 hours on it I love it just wished I'd waited a year because the Suspension seat was Standard 😂.

I think some people just like certain logos, that's why they're "brand loyal".......all kidding aside, it is very difficult to get people to be open minded to trying new things. Kinda reminds me of "bagged cereal" vs. "box cereal"......they ALL come in a bag, it's just that some packaging is more attractive than others. But once people try it out, they find that they underestimated the new product. And they grow to like it. Just takes an open mind. The Ferris is a very nice mower!!! I like the Ferris, very similar to Gravely. I may consider Ferris for next mower, my TYM dealer sells them. I am a Kawasaki engine fan, that is just preference for me but open to Vanguard engines too.

I love the fact that they have so many different engine options. You can get it set up pretty much any way you want it.

Awesome stuff, as always, guys. It's a Great looking mower well built, and the seat is awesome. I wish I could get that on the T224 😅. The T224 it cuts grass amazingly. I was not sure if I would like the 54" mm mower every time I cut with it. I love it more and more. P.S I did post a video on the T224. It's not that great, but the first one is the hardest one and very awkward 😅 Cheers Chris

Those front deck mounted Grasshoppers look pretty nice since you can push a button to expose the entire underside of the deck. Then again, pretty darn pricey.

I won’t argue nor complain but my frontmount grasshopper mower with the 3 cylinder Kubota diesel would be hard to beat.

I think that would be apples and oranges. Ferris offers a similar setup using a Caterpillar diesel.

i owned a ferris 4500 several years ago. great ride but too heavy. made ruts in my yards. didnt cut as good as my scags. so now i own 6 scags. my turf tiger has 3133 hours on it all original except for minor parts.

There are so many good brands, but I love the fact that Ferris has gone all in on suspension. They really take care of the operator.

I like the fact that even their homeowners 500 series have full suspension. One of my friends bought one and absolutely loveS it.
