Beautiful job on the scales, you inspired me! I did a set in copper and I love that the knife has a little weight to it now, it feels much more substantial in the hand. If anyone wants to try copper, I used a bar of 99.9% copper 1/12” x .8” x 8”. Just a Dremel with cutoff wheels and sanding drums, a belt sander, and a little hand filing for the tight radius by the lanyard hole. Again, lovely work, and thanks for sharing!

Congrats on breaking through 1K subs! That is a really sweet knife and upgrade. I'm curious if you considered the quick acid wash of the new scales and the light sanding across the peaks like you did on a previous knife? I forget which one that was. Either way, this knife is a winner!

Thank you very much!🙏🙏 I think it was the CJRB Ria, that definitely had a cool look to it with the etched brass! The customer wanted a clean scalloped texture but I'm going to do another knife with that style finish on brass. I'll have that up soon😉

Sorry, I like it more before. Ferrum forge did actually very good job with Lackey and I can't see reason to replace scales for brass.
