I freakkin' love mine. I have every iteration of the stinger ever made and I will go as far as saying that this little guy is one of my favorite. For the price it's a no brainer.

Elliot From Ferrum Forge actually negotiated with the steel Manufacturer of Nitro V so WE could purchase it. So I thought it was pretty cool. So it only makes sense to use it on there design first

It’s a stellar knife. Super light and slim, flips great, usable fuller for opening, and interesting steel choice. It’s well designed and a great value at $90

This is clearly a Civivi created by an outside designer with slightly better steel ....at that price point it seems fair enough. I decided to have my most recent 7”-Civivi-w/finger-choil to come in Black Damascus, CF and a cleaver-style blade...My Mini Bullmastiff arrives any day now and was slightly less money than this Civivi/Ferrum-Forge Stinger, after the WhiteMountainKnives/SliceyDicey discount! Thanks Bryan! It’s all good!...and they are both fine knives for the money.

My Perpetua didn't rust at all in my pocket at work and my M390 Hinderer has. So I would say that it's a pretty good steel for corrosion resistance. It also held a pretty good edge, I like it personally!

Nitro-V is seriously underrated. So many times when the edge on my Perpetua finally starts to give all it takes is some work with a honing rod and it is good to go.

I have the black G-10 and I am very happy with it. Shorter than what I normally prefer, but it is a really good knife.

Love seeing Nitro-V being used more and more. From experience its one of the most corrosion resistant steels I've ever used. Takes a helluva edge too. Great video 🔥🍻

Now that is one good looking knife and it's going to the top of my really want one of those list. Two and a half-ish ounces, 3.25" blade, multiple opening options, good blade steel, useful forward finger choil and only $90. Oh yeah! I see a Stinger in my near future.

@@gregsobek722 just an FYI. Pulled the trigger on a Stinger earlier this morning. Got it in tan so I can RIT dye the scales...just don't yet know what color to choose.

@@gregsobek722 I've dyed a few scales and it's quite easy. Instead of trying to explain how, go to LuvThemKnives channel. You'll have to go back SEVERAL videos, but LTK has a video or two on how to do it. Check it out.

@@gregsobek722 that's one of the ones I dyed. Used RIT Racing Red Dyemore and it turned out more or less a dark maroon instead of a bright red. I do like it though. (Your mileage may vary) The Honey Badger has plastic scales, not G10.

I love it too. The similarities to the WE Kitefin was not lost on me also. Very good design. I find myself keeping this one around even if i am carrying another knife...

Other than a forward choil, it bears almost zero resemblance to a Kitefin.

Slicey Dicey I thought the edge profile, forward choil placement relative to the main grip, and general dimensions were pretty close. The Kitefin has a convex handle swell, and the Stinger a convex one, but the pivot geometry is similar. The top swell in the kitefin blade is a bit different. At least all to my eyes. The two side-by-side gave me that impression

Drop a set of Skiff ceramic bearings in it and you’ll love the Stinger even more....the stock bearing have what looks to be a cheap stamped cage with a pronounced shoulder on one side, the ball cage is very thin.

**Update** I was able to get the action just perfect. The trick is when reassembling put only the pivot screw in on the pivot side. This allows you to rotate the scale out of the way and have access to the body screws to adjust tension on the back end. After fooling around with all three screws I was able to get the action just right! Mine arrived today love the design. Only complaints are the closing action on mine is a bit stiff even after cleaning. Also I wouldn’t mind some after market scales. Maybe wood or Micarta.

Nice review Bryan. I really like the looks of this one. The only Ferrum Forge that I have is the Arch Bishop. Really enjoy that knife. Does it only come in Black and Tan, in the G10? Also what does Civivi have to do with this knife. I know you said it doesn’t but then you kept mentioning Civivi as a comparison? Not sure. So is it a Ferrum Forge made by Civivi? Lol
