Ferry trip from ANTIGUA to MONTSERRAT island (Caribbean)

Scenic boat trip from island of Antigua to island of Montserrat in the Caribbean. Let me take you through the wonderful experience of boarding a boat at St John's (the capital of the island of Antigua) and then travelling all the way to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Montserrat, in the Caribbean.
Montserrat is a mountainous Caribbean island, part of the Lesser Antilles chain and a British Overseas Territory. Its Soufrière Hills volcano erupted in the 1990s, causing significant damage to the south of the island and leading to the creation of an exclusion zone. The north of Montserrat is largely unaffected, and has black-sand beaches, coral reefs, cliffs and shoreline caves.
Antigua is one of the 2 major islands that make up the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda. Ringed with coral reefs, the island is known for its many sandy beaches. Set along English Harbour, restored Nelson’s Dockyard, which Admiral Horatio Nelson made his base in the 1780s, includes a marina and the Dockyard Museum. Trails lead up to Shirley Heights, a former military lookout with panoramic views.

I must admit that after 97 countries and 4 million air-miles, I was absolutely amazed with the beauty of this island and fell in love with it. Hi again, will have a look tomorrow, gladly will share it with the group. I myself have lived on MNI from 1995 to 2004 and have benn in Plymouth before the volcano and a differents stages through the erruption. Last time in town it was a few roof sticking out, with a german film team and scientist, heartbreaking, it was so beautiful before, such a charming lil town.
