Andy, first time tuning into you and I'm so glad I did. Of course, Lara is fabulous in this performance and it is so crazy that I believe more people are getting to know her now than 20 years ago when she did this. There is no question she will not be overlooked as one of the greatest singers who has entertained us anymore. Andy, it is very rare that a reactor/reviewer gets credit for a jaw dropping performance but that's exactly what you gave to us. Most of us are music lovers and what is pleasant to our ears tells us the whole story. But, you explained to us what was going on behind Lara's voice to such a degree that I appreciated the full production of the song much more than I ever have. Well done. Most of your audience will probably be aware and have heard most of the artists and their featured songs before and so no need to apologize for the interruptions. There are ways they can find original recordings and listen to them without pauses and then come back to you to find out what just happened !!!!! I will subscribe and look forward to more of your work. Get ready because you soon will be in demand and rightfully so. Many of us will have suggestions about who to react to and may I take this time to offer mine. Angelina Jordan. Thanks again, Andy.

Lara Fabian is such a master at expressing emotions in her performances. This and her 'Je suis Malade' are my favourite of hers. I will also look forward to the Dimash Kudaibergen version since he is the reason I at all discovered Lara Fabian. (Dimash is himself a huge fan of Lara...)

Very nice reaction. I think you "get" her in that you recognize how much work went into this number, the dedication to perfection in every detail, the summit-level skill, and the astonishing connection to the emotion of the song all happening at once. She is a complete, polished artist.

👉 Lara Fabian is a wonderful world-famous singer and songwriter. She wrote the lyrics many years ago to this classical baroque melody that cannot be assigned to any particular artist with certainty. Today it is one of the most popular works of “classical music”. The composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian arranged the piece into a pop song. She is a great role model for Dimash Kudaibergen. 🌼🇩🇪

Really enjoyed your notes on the orchestration. Fabian's effortless, masterful technique + otherworldly emotive performance skills are stunning. Quite unique in my experience. And her timbre - the only soprano who hits my aural net like liquid velvet. I'd be very interested in your notes on You're Not From Here from this same concert. It's insanely difficult vocally, but she keeps it sounding gentle and easy as pie. I'd be very curious what you make of the orchestration in that. Thanks for your review! 🖖🏽

Hello. Good job deconstructing this wonderful song by Lara. It is a different perspective from the countless reactions that exist on KZbin for this song. There are versions of this song by some more or less well-known singers in the music scene, who are not even close to having the degree of mastery that Lara puts into her performance. Lara is in fact a unique singer in the way she sings. Greetings from Portugal.

i have listened to this version many, many rimes and have listed to your review of both the Dimash and Floor versions - i have just subscribed to your channel for this reason ........... your reviews are very technical ( i, on the other hand, am not and listen with my emotions ) and i now can see more clearly why my emotions are what they are and your diction is to my ears perfection. all that bein said i will add this opinion -- Lara has an extraordinarily pleasing and warm voice which seems to include the listener in the emotional journey she sets out on with each one she performs - i feel that journey along with her. Both Dimash and Floor are amazing singers and both have multiple slots in my many playlists bit neither takes you along with them but rather showcase their abilities ...... their voices do not have, for me anyway, the warmth of Lara. i look forward to more from you . thank you for your time

Sarah Brightman sang "Adagio" with completely different lyrics. It's called "Anytime, Anywhere" and was released on her album "Eden" in 1998. Would love to see you react to her version.
