You just made me flashbacks when I did all my cables for an upcoming tour a few weeks ago. What creeps me out is that you have the same Weller WE1010 Solder station incl. wool cleaner on your desk, aswell as using the same crimp tool by knipex😱😂 Cheers from Switzerland🖐️

I have been using ferrules since 1997 or 1998. I think '98. When we were young... I started using them because of some German rules (I believe DIN Standard) requiring them on cable used for extension cables. So basically no choice when you got gigs in Germany. Anyhow, I was years ahead of the rest with that here in the Netherlands. But ferrules have been gaining more and more traction ever since. As for color and sizes: Check out the videos efixx did on ferrules. Use the search function. And while you asked: Blue is for 2,5mm2. German invention so metric. As for crimpers: Klauke all the way. In all shapes and sizes. But you do know that Neutrik designed the Powercon to be used without ferrules? That is what that pressure plate is for. Like we give a fuck... Former Neutrik product tester and father of the Ultimate Plug and that nice little sentence on bags to use what type and size of screwdriver here but not on speaking terms with that ex anymore. We had a fight about the kids (= Neutrik products I came up with and/or made improvements on). And while you asked: It's 2.30 am over here.

To be honest, i've never seen those ferrules. But i kinda love them. But that Knippex Tool is way too expensive for my taste. Anyway: I love your videos and i'm gonna check out your store

Knipex is….an expensive mistress. That being said, they are beautifully made. I hate that I am cheating on Klein, but Knipex is the other woman in my toolbox. Also, thanks for the kind words!! 😘😘🤗🤗🥰🥰
