Katie, it’s gorgeous! I love decorating for family areas where it really isn't meant for guest during parties or what not. Deer are my thing. My daughter brought to my attention that I might have a problem with deer and Christmas decor. Lol. I found everything to be so beautiful, but something about the dough bowl with the vine balls and jingle bells spoke to me. I can’t wait for Brin’s room!

You were so worried about the red, it looks fabulous 👌. Our family room tree, growing up had pictures like you did and family ornaments, that we got to pick out each year and saved until we were older.we all got our collection of ornaments when we were older , such great memories. ..just an idea for your children , you can put on tree or just save in box for them . Katie, the talent you have is inspiring.! Please take care of yourself, you do so much. My things are snowman, with added candy canes. My Christmas decor style is a lot like yours, gold, green and neutral, but I also have a toddler and have started to go for a more traditional look in my living room for him. I have kid friendly ornaments and a Santa tree topper. I also have grinch themed kid friendly pieces that I put out. I still do “my style” in the rest of my house but I do love having some Santa stuff around just for him. It brings back some of the magic. Your loft looks beautiful! ❤🎄

I only just learned that on tiktok too. The Christmas figure. Up until this year I've always hated nutcrackers. Now I'm obsessed. I love snowmen in the guest bathroom and woodland animals in one area. I've never had a thing. So that's funny to me. I have Santa figures too. But to be fair, my mom and Grandma were always "theme" collectors and decorators when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s that I've rejected it. I refuse to stick to one item. I'm not sure if that's common or not. LOL!!
