Just received mine today!!! For me it’s the ease of being able to grab any tool instead of digging around in a box!! The compatibility of connecting it to sys is also another selling point for me!!

One big missing essential feature -> The ability to close/cover it (prevent rain, prevent debris). I want my tools to be protected. Really sad that this is missing, otherwise it would be perfect. Am I the only one here, or are more people rooting for this?

It’s a legitimate point. I can see breaking the sys stack out of the van/ truck/ car to walk your tools to the house/ building. And nature happens. Depending on your climate, it could be a cold, miserable, driving rain. And the SysBag usually caps off the tower. Being open-topped, it’s gonna get drenched. There should be a DWR-coated nylon skirt with an elastic hem that fits over the bag until you get into the dry. A good opportunity to plaster a big, fat Festool logo on it!

I agree 100%. There should be a cover to protect the tools from the elements. It ain’t good to find tools wet from rain or melting snow whilst on the worksite.

I have one and i love festool system because of the integration but the sowing on the inserts are bad they are not bar tacked at the top so when i put my hand tools in them the stitching is already coming undone.

Same here for me in that the stitching is coming apart from the inserts on the Velcro. But still a lovely bag, plus it connects to a Systainer T-Loc. 👍🏼

Please bring about an additional version that either has a rain cover, closed top, or weep holes. I watched the video closely but saw no mention of weep holes. This one is to going to gather water or slush in the bottom as you walk and work through the rain or snow, unless you cover it with a plastic bag.

You might be able to get them from Bott directly, from memory Festool can’t sell them in all areas due to market infringement.

Not enough pockets. I love festool but veto pack is more bang for your buck

Got a Stanley quick access and it must have like 50+ pockets and only about £70 in uk

Velcro panels could use some sort of locking turn/thumb screw? Whatever they’re called? Needed to keep the panels from separating when loaded up. Also, like the Milwaukee idea where the shoulder strap slides over the handle when not in use.

Great review! Can you put it on top of an old festool toolbox or a SYS-StorageBox SYS-SB? I mean, does it fit over the plastic handle?
