Very nice place, been there 3 times. And i always want to return to Werfen and Hoenwerfen castle. It was the movie Where eagles Dare i found this place interesting..

INteresting to see the inside of the castle having only seen it from a distance in September as we came back to Salzburg airport from Slovenia where our group had a fabulous time climbing in the mountains. My shot introducing my video of our Salzberg visit was a real stunner despite being through the coach window (our local newspaper editor though so too and used it as a 'reader's picture' when we got home. Well chiffed! Please have a look at it . Called 'The Sound of Music?? War Quiz?Mozart's Salzburg' or something like that! :)
