Right from the pre-production stage, each of the tourism bodies and attractions we contacted went out of their way to make sure our camera guy could get the best shots possible. And once on the ground, everyone he met, from museum officials to strangers in the street, was obliging and cheerful. An extra big shout out to Tourismus Salzburg, the Austrian National Tourist Offices in New York and Sydney, the Marionette Museum, Stiftskeller St. Peter, Müllner Bräu Brewery and the Hallein Salt Mine. I was in Munich 2 years ago with an extra week, decided to catch the train to Salzburg for a day trip. Absolutely gorgeous city, walk by the river, climb the hill to see views of the whole city and see the gardens in the old palace and walk through the narrow alleys to Mozart's birthplace. It has a certain charm unmatched anywhere else in the world. My next plan is to visit in winter when it is snowing

the only thing they forgot to mention is the Berchtesgaden area with Königssee and Watzmann. If you have the time, take a day to go there with a day ticket - you can ask the information from any local basically. Its worth it, I know, Im a local ) Have a good trip
