My dear brethren, Corruption can be found in all.parts of the globe and we woukd be naive to think that Africans have the monopoly for it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but not their own facts but, blame resolves nothing and the past is the past except that we are repeating the same mistakes of the past and we are not moving forward. There was no reason to kill him or the coup of 1966 which nigeria has never recovered period. The brutal Civil War and the defeat of BIAFRA birthed the northern hegemony today. Finally, Professor Achebe, had point when he indicted the abject failure of Nigeria leaders past and present and it has been our biggest obstacle as a Nation tribalism included period.

Stop being a tribalist in 2021. Enough of this animosity that has kept us underdeveloped. For your information, the Igbos didn't have family meeting and decided to kill Okotie-Ebo. It was a military coup which would never have involved the Igbo masses. Even if all Igbos united to kill these men, is your revenge with the blood of Aguiyi Ironsi, over 100,000 Easterners that died in the aftermath of the 1966 coup, and over 3million Easterners that died in the civil war not enough to atone for the blood of Okotie-Ebo?
