I’ve been watching your videos for about a month and living a dream through them. I have a special attachment to Sugar Tree Tennessee and the Cherokee Boat Dock and Marine. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and my grandparents spent their weekends camping there at the marina. Sometimes we would ride over and spend the weekends fishing and playing at the Waters edge. My grandparents eventually retired there in the Cherokee community. Once when I was eight or nine years old, a friend of my grandparents who had a cabin cruiser, took my grandmother and I for a ride down to Pickwick through the lock and Dam. The gentleman that owned the cabin cruiser spent time with me explaining the Tennessee river system, and how the locks and dams work. It left a deep impression on me and for all my life I dreamed about taking a trip down the Tennessee river to the Mississippi and being as Tom Sawyer. That dream is always been in the back of my mind, but life took a different road. I got married to a gentle woman. We had a couple of kids. And now we have three beautiful grandchildren. I would not trade any of it for any of my dreams. Now, I spend my days, living the dream, fishing, lakes, and rivers near home here in Georgia and abroad. Sometimes the dream is better than the reality. With many thanks here’s a small gift to help you and Wavy along the way.

Oh, that little white kayak! Is that a new acquisition? I don't seem to remember it in the earlier videos. If you make yourself a plastic (or scrap rubber roofing) "lid" for the cockpit hole, it won't fill with water if/when it flips. Also, you can use it for additional storage space without too much of a "drag" penalty on your speed.

I would rather use lake master with the real time depth offset then the navonics. Plus all the mapping updates with mapping live from all the fishermen doing the more accurate slow mapping. I have found so many errors with the navonics on our western reservoirs that I have no confidence in it. It is to general in its depth mapping and maybe because it was a government run thing for Shipping and Aviation and not for the shallow water runners. I have a Jetcraft brand fishing boat that is meant to run in the super shallows and jump over exposed bars on rivers so lake master is a must have. Watch the Jetcraft and Rogue boat videos. But keep up on your travel updates and be safe, what a great adventure for sure WIWY.

Thats a great question I've been trying to figure out. The basics: not much! Food and fuel. I'm guessing 1k-1.5k a month for both. I est good food like steaks and such. It could be less. We burn about a gallon an hour of fuel. Whatever that comes out to be. I recently heard apmw folks spend 30k-60k doing the loop!! We will probably do it for 8k. I have 18k into the barge.
