Looks like a great adventure, have enjoyed to this point. For night time running move you front work/flood light so it does not light up the forward deck. It makes it more effective to see in front of you. As you can tell in the video you are lighting up the white scooter and it is reflecting light back into your face. Or maybe add a set to the front railing to project out in front of you

A minister once asked me why I did not come to church more often than I do. I do go semi-regularly, not just a huge priority. I told him that I could go up the side of a hill, sit down under a tree and overlook God's beautiful world, and talk to him from my heart, and feel closer to Him than I ever did in any church! Every person has their own method of communicating with his or her creator, and it is no one else's business, as long as no one else is harmed.

Well stated and true. I'm closest when farthest out in nature. Farthest from society.

On the river side, it would all be against the current. This coming fall we'll be leaving lake Superior and headed east and down the east coast to complete the loop. Please stick around...

@frank_III I don't. I've had several over the years, but they got expensive, and I settled into a couple of boats to keep.

Small towns will always survive if only in song. Here in this area our small towns have grown not for the best because the New Yorkers are leaving their NY homes like rats from a burning ship and then when they get here they want to have all the crap (sidewalk, more law enforcement,city water and sewer ect) and they have in turn caused taxes to increase and property values to triple to the point that a working man can’t afford a home to even rent anymore much less own.
@backwatersandbackroads10 күн бұрын
Exactly. The same in my little adopted town. "City-iots" come up from Madison and Illinois and become "civilly active" and turn it into what they ruined back home. It's a mess man. :(

If one had to choose between a pontoon boat anda barge like yours, which one would you prefer? Thank you for your videos. I'm jealous. Out west we don't have the water ways like those in the east. Retired in the desert!
@backwatersandbackroads10 күн бұрын
@Graybear78 howdy! Well...nutshell: pontoon boats are common and can be cheap. Barge hulls are harder to find and usually always more money. Barge hulls are usually work boats, which means they're built stronger (welded aluminum) unless you want to build your own from plywood and fiberglass. A good pontoon with the bigger toons is probably the easiest/best way to go. Trailers are the harder part item to find cheap. Q: do you know about our group on Facebook? The Shallow Drafters Shanty Boat Club?

If they can keep there Post Office it will survive. That’s what I’ve seen over the years. Sen. Robert Bird made it his mission to keep small communities Post Office open. It gives the community an identity. It’s sad but the powers to be have districted rural America with things that doesn’t even affect them. Example: How many transgender baseball players are playing there lol It looks like they were run over with illegal migraines Get my point? I love your channel and watch every episode. You know how to putout great content!! Don’t shoot the messenger lol Or shoot I understand that the truth can be painful

It’s exactly what is missing in our Nation. Small communities, bonded in Jesus Christ and working hard. It’s also exactly what the Deep State and certain “ players” in “ our” Government are trying to destroy. I say we stand up, refuse these Satanic players and stand on the Word of God to defeat these detestable people!
