My son was born with a cystic hygroma on the left side of his neck, he had treatment on it but it never worked. When he was 18 months old he had 80% removed in an 10 hour surgery. They can't remove the wall of the cyst as it sits between his jugular and windpipe. He's now 11 years old he has scars on his neck but that doesn't bother him at all. This is the kind of info I was looking for in 2009 when I was pregnant with him

Hi..so glad your son is ok,I'm turning 12wks on Monday I was told a couple days ago that my baby has fluid on the neck , I'm scared and worried I go back in a couple weeks for a second ultrasound 🙏 They told me there's a possible for down syndrome, any advice..thanks and take care 🙂

Dr told me in 10 weeks scan that baby has cystic hygroma but we waited and in 12 week scan everything is normal, NT and double marker test is also normal. Are there any other necessary tests.

Hi there, thanks for sharing your story. Can I ask, how big it was when they found it? I found out in the 14th week about 0.60mm and they told me there is still a high chance of disappearing as your baby had. I don't want to do Invasive testing.

@@jasnapasalic7814 they did not mention abt how big it was but dr gave only 10 percent possibility of everything getting normal but by God's grace everything turned out normal. I m in my 9 the month now 🤞

I am 11 weeks pregnant and i found out today that my baby is having cystic hygroma but the doctr said there is 10% chance that it will disappear... i will go for another ultrasound after two weeks ... may everything goes well

@@joannajimenez6150 Doctors told me it's rare to happen again , and while I was in the clinic I came across couples who suffered the same problem and they have healthy children which is relieving.

I had my first miscarriage due to cystic hygroma. I was also told it was rare to happen again but I just had my second miscarriage with cystic hygroma again :( trying to figure out why this keeps happening

You should see Dr. Chung in Corsicana, TX. Dr. Hung in Dallas, TX is good too..they are otolaryngologysts. I have the same conditions and was treated by Dr. Chung.

Was the amniotic fluid cloudy ? Can you tell me more if it’s not too painful ? My dr just found this out in my first grand baby ... sorry for your loss
