Die deutschen Mittelalter-Rock-Meister FEUERSCHWANZ haben das offizielle Musik Video zum Song "Meister der Minne" veröffentlicht. Der Song stammt vom brandneuen Album Das Elfte Gebot, das am 26. Juni erschien und direkt auf Platz #3 der offiziellen deutschen Album Charts schoss.
Die Band kommentiert: "Als Dankeschön für eure unglaubliche Unterstützung haben wir ein weiteres Musikvideo für euch am Start! German medieval rock masters FEUERSCHWANZ have released the official music video for their song "Meister der Minne". The song comes off their brand new album Das Elfte Gebot which was released on June 26 and landed #3 of the official German album charts.
Commented the band: "As a thank you for your incredible support we present to you yet another music video. If Iron Maiden and "A Knight's Tale" as well as Bon Jovi and "Men In Tights" each had a child and those two would beget an heir during a hot and sticky night on the highest tower of castle FEUERSCHWANZ: THIS would be the result!
Expect an epic battle of the sexes, bold riffs from 1001 nights, earth-shaking bass, tight leggings and loose morals as well as guitar solos worthy of a minstrel. Who will win? Our Hodi as himself or the incredible Lenora as his well armored opponent? We present: Meister der Minne!"

To say it in the easy and romanticised view of the medieval times: A Man would try to woo a Woman, often of higher standing than him, with a romantic song or poem to open her doors/window (and legs ;) ) for him. The classic picture it that of a lonly Man standing at the foot of a tower with a Lute, while the target of hin Minne is standing at a window high up in the tower.

Another really fun song by Feuerschwanz. They always seem to be having a good time in their videos. One picky note on the editing: when Lenora begins to remove her helmet she's still wearing her bevor (the plate protecting her throat and jaw), but as the helmet comes off the bevor's gone! She is explicitly shown to be wearing the sallet (this style of helmet) with the strap beneath the bevor (the high gorget), meaning the sallet's chin strap is ocluded by the bevor itself - yet at 1:14 she is taking off the sallet with the bevor STILL explicitly in place. Plus, at 1:16 the bevor (which is buckled behind the neck) has fallen itself without her hand having been near it. Hallo! One of my greatest passions is history, medieval and sword fighting and I must say, I'm impressed by how good ( in comparison to other films ) was the fight scene in this video. Not all perfect from a perspective of succesfull combat, but still it's amazing that somebody who makes a film or just music, shows a fight in which most of techniques are acceptable or even very good. Mittlerweile ist "Feuerschwanz" zum Schlager des "Mittelalter Metal/Rocks" geworden, das ist aber bei WEITEM keine negative Aussage. Für mich heißt jemand (außer dem normalen Schlagen(mir ist der wiederspruch bewussst)) der Schlager geschaffen hat, das er einen Drahtseilakt geschaffen hat zwischen Alt und Neu Fans. "Minne" means "courtly love" according to Wikipedia. This is a 5 minute translation. So maybe not 100% accurate. Don´t attempt to learn german with this translation. The armor adds a good 35-120 pounds of weight which should slow her down, plus its hot and bulky.
