Starting lineup Clark, Mitchell, Boston, Bonner, and Howard. That's a versatile lineup that should be significantly better defensively. That's a starting 5 that have all played in all star games. Hull and Cunningham off the bench is crazy. Clark should be much more protected with Cunningham, Bonner and Howard on the team.

I like the Bonner signing. Obviously near the end of her career but I get the win now goal. Interesting is that Bonner was called a "big guard" last year while her fiance was the "point forward." So is she going to be given the same status now? Probably just use the numbers for the spot more than anything. She did lead the league in rebounds as a "guard" and the Fever do need more rebounders. I think they'll be at least middle of the pack in that and defense now rather than near the bottom. 2nd chance points and defense for transition spells excitement and improvement. Can't wait to watch every Fever game for the 2nd straight year and cheer them on.

I don’t think there ever has been a time when the opening of the WNBA season will be so highly anticipated. If you were a free agent, why wouldn’t you want to play with a person who has proven they can get you the ball if you are open. Yes, Caitlin is a scorer, but it is her passing ability that is drawing other players to the Fever. She elevates everyone.

Unfortunately, this team only has 1 chance to win a title, because next year everyone's a free agent except for Clark, Boston, and Berger [edit: NM, Berger just got waived] (Howard may or may not be on a 1 yr deal, unclear as of now) - 2 are restricted incl Hull, and everyone else is unrestricted. So sadly, it's pretty doubtful they'll be able to keep this team together. But first thing's first: it's all about what they can do this season.

Bonner and Howard are old players. Not sure if they'll suit up for more than 25 games per player. Diana Taurasi is probably still available to sign. She will only be 44 next year! On paper they look like a super team, but I'm not sold. I think they will have a significantly older team. I hope getting rid of Berger won't come back to haunt them. While were at it did White really have good control of that team last year given Carrington's and Thomas stupid on court cheap shots and off court dumb comments?
