Having worked in the UN I have seen how awfully beurocratic and wasteful the organisation is, with hugely overpaid staff in a nepotistic environment. UN could do more with proper management and getting rid of the socialist wasters who just eat cash and beg for more. Funding should be cut by 2/3 and the quangos (like UNRWA) removed, and you look at UNIFIL that pretty much did the opposite of its mandate. New efficient leadership from less left leaning sectors should be installed. UN is one of the few places in the world where you'll be paid 200k per year just for doing gender studies or saying you're a feminist.
