You can buy special clamps for the corners from B & Q - very cheap.

A simple tie down strap is all you need, I use it all the time for frames. And it's self-aligning too so always perfectly applied pressure with angles maintained.

Меня хватило до «деревянных» тисков))) Проще и быстрее любое изделие тоньше заготовки прижать к столу струбциной(да хоть саморезами прикрутить) и упереть торцом в неё заготовку и работай себе на Здоровье)) Когда много деталей в обработке - так гораздо быстрее

For the number 4, you don.t have to punch out that stopper and turn the handle around, you can just put the lip of the clamp that you've just unscrewed to the other end of the clamp. Excellent video nonetheless, so mush less trouble I'd have to go through had I watched it earlier.

1:45 You don't need to unpin the main clamp - just attach the small part to the other end of the bar. You'll get the same result. It is supposed to work that way without extra tools.

Trick No. 4 - It is not necessary to remove any rivets as shown. Just unscrew bolt, remove end jaw and install it on other side of flat bar - there are holes already prepared for it.

to get the jack feature all you had to do was move the fixed jaw to the other end. That's why it's removable. No driving out of pins necessary. They already thought of that.

I have a pin in each end and the fixed end has a bolt so one pin must come out to remove the clamp. Not sure what you are getting at?

@@jasonsteele6926 Well, how do you do that when both ends of the flat bar have pins that need to be driven out in order to flip the end and be used for spreading. My clamps have pins in both ends and are Irwin

@@jasonsteele6926 I assume I explained this correctly. I have been around tools all my life. I can't be this dumb, I hope. The ratcheting end works only 1 way and I can remove the fixed end via a screw as it is beyond the pin. I hope I am missing something? If the fixed end pin is removed, then it can be used as a spreader. I bought the Irwin 4 pack. 2 -12" and 2- 6" clamps

@@jasonsteele6926 I hate to harp about it as it can be flipped, but the ratcheting end pin must be removed in order to slide the fixed end on and install the screw because the pin protrudes, stopping the fixed end from being inserted in order to be screwed on. The hole alignment is correct, though. either way, 1 pin has to be removed.

1:50 why did you knock the pin out and slide the clamp mechanism off? you could have slid the clamp end onto that end and put it's bolt back through without that extra step? I do this all the time

@@kalmarattila I have a few different branded one handed clamps and they all work in exactly the same way (except an old Erwin which has a fixed clamp end), the pin he knocked out is for aligning the clamp end and the hole next to it for the bolt to secure it :)
