I would say with Ul'dah being seemingly based around Persia and Persian culture the music does fit, you could even argue the sitar fits as the sitar is more the evolved modern version of a traditional Persian instrument called the setar

@@player554 All of the instruments used in this song are used in the day and night Ul'dah themes. The chord progression in parts mimics Sultana's Breath (ul'dah night theme) So I'd say it fits.
