The notification was meant for another Applibot gacha (Nier I believe). The apology 5* ticket was for another issue a few days ago. There was an error in the non-engish text description of the step up banner, so they gave out tickets according to how many pulls on the step up banner (which for the majority was the first free pull).

I agree with generosity, but there is good reason why they do this. They have to do it to keep game going and it had lots to do how this game is designed. If you think other things than weapons that make you party strong like levels, stats trees or materia. Materia is mostly luck and there is limit how far levels and stat trees can take you. Limit without any ob weapons right now is something like 150-160K power. To get stronger than this you need over boosted weapons. For free to play player, pulling costume once or twice in month isn't enough for player parties to get stronger. The absolutely cannot just stop giving us blue crystal and tickets, because after that ftp players would feel zero progress. They would feel stuck, get bored and leave. After free to play players leave, so will whales because there is nobody they could flex to anymore. I think they really know what they are doing with this game. The must be new things in future, but foundation is there. My opinion is, that best part of this game if feeling of getting stronger. Like how I first time fight against Ifrit very hard, and he just murdered my party. Then later I tried again and killed him with only Cloud surviving with 100 hp. These days I can defeat him using auto without any trouble and it feels good. This is why I'm playing, facing new harder opponent, easily defeat old opponents that were once hard. All this in world of FF7, my all time favorite game. I'm really waiting what future holds.

I agree. Well said. This only offers incentive to spend. The ONLY thing missing from this game is a proper pity system. Honestly, this would make the game 100% as it should have been. Stamps is NOT a pity system, as lucky players will get the same steps just faster. Pity is when odds remain the same, but they are spread more evenly. 7.5% means that a gold weapon should be present in two 10 draws. As such, the easiest pity to implement would be that if someone did not draw a gold weapon on a 10 pull, the next 10 pull is guaranteed to have one. Simple and effective, same odds just helpful to spread them in a way that actually incentivises people to pull even if unlucky.

Totally agree, a proper pity system is all that is missing so that their generosity is more evenly enjoyed. And PLEASE, at last 1 purple weapon per 10 pull. 3000 Crystals for 10 parts in total is just a waste of crystals.

Agree However, I would like to mention that they are hiding half the Event story behind 100k difficulty again. This is not, imo, going to have the desired effect : most of the players who skip dialogue are dolphins and whales. They didn't do this for the Beach event, nor as much for Halloween.

anyone who still says otherwise is either casual or non-existent player who logs in for rewards , gets nothing then refuse to play. also it needs to be said . . i spent all my crystals to get aeriths winter outfit , then saved everything since then and got to 30k in less than a month thru all the holiday rewards . thats 100 pulls and possibly 2 costumes ( spent 18k or so for clouds festive garb)

I totally agree. After the first banner I was hurting for crystals and worried I'd have to start buying them, but after the Summer event they've done a great job giving out crystals and draw tickets. As for the grind, I think it's good. It's a little high, but if it was less, people would complain there's nothing to do. My biggest issue was 50 co-op battles with Bahamut. I could only stand to do 30 cuz people aren't paying attention/bad builds for it

The game / company is generous with this. I already have 9K gems again. (I was at zero gems after I got both fire attires). I did buy the new season pass though (it does have the best value of all shop items). But if this is the most generous Gacha then I really don't wanna play other ones. XD And I also don't plan to - I only got here because of how much I love FF7 Remake. ^^ The game does have a lot of auto-grinding - especially when you feel like you have to rush things. But it's not so bad if you only concentrate on a few things at a time and the daily tasks are completed quickly. And I also don't need this to be a huge time investment, since I play other games too (PS5). It would be nice however, if the gameplay can be mixed up with some other things. And I also think they should bring back the old banners for a limited time, so new players can get the attires they've missed. Or will they be added to the attire shop at some point?

I was finishing up making my Ranked team just as the reset happened lol. I don't ever put on Push notifications so I just got a free ticket! I got a Barrett weapon which was ok, it was his weapon that lowers Pdef forget the name of it. The amount of free stuff they have given us since launch is MORE than generous! I got back into Nikke after not playing it for like 9 months and I'm honestly thinking about quitting again. I have some decent characters, some of who are TOP tier, and I'm only half way through the story and I can't hardly progress because the grinding is non-existent! Dailies takes about an hour a day and there's no way to really grind materials to increase your CP unless you spend ALOT of money. It's literally do dailies, get a small CP boost, clear 2-3 stages in a chapter per week rinse & repeat. This game does a great job of making you feel like your progressing each day since they give out so much free stuff to do draws.

They need to introduce an auto 1 5* per pull like ffrk started to do towards the end. Getting all blues is like not pulling at all or make blues worth 5. The weapon pull is only going to get bigger making getting what you want/need less likely. Also seems we will have allot of costumes as well. Give us another way to get these costumes or old costumes. Give them a parts system or something. Put them in the paid for costume section after x amount of time?

i would argue tho , brown dust 2 is way more generous . not saying this game isn't just that brown dust 2 has rebates for summoning . up to 4 times , if you summon the current character banner , they give you 10 tickets back . not to mention every event they already give you currency/tickets for summons . and also , the daily quests prob take like 10-20 min to complete

DFFOO was the same. 1st year was generous and amazing. But it started going downhill after that. Generous amounts of gems, but the banners rarely gave you all the event weapons. They put 3 characters' weapons on a banner but only gave me dupes of weapons i already had, no new weapons. Or i would spend 3 months' worth of gems and tickets and get 4 of the BT but not a single LD. It happened so often that i quit and started playing Star Rail. When i complained in forums and YT comments, people would rage at me about odds and chance. But i do math for a living, i know when there is manipulation happening. This is also why i think single weapon banners are best. They have to validate the odds they state of getting a 5 star event weapon, so every one you get is the one you wanted.

FF7EC is easily the second most generous gacha game I've ever seen but I'd put it clearly behind FF Dissidia Opera Omnia. That game, pull for pull, was as generous as this game but you needed a lot fewer copies of a weapon to max out a character. You could largely skip a banner or two and save up enough gems to max out the weapon on the next banner for most of the lifespan of the game. There were eventually a character points system that was much easier to max out if you bought the monthly pass but it was like $6 a month or something. It was great. The pricing for passes in ever crisis is kinda whack.

This game is easily the most fee to play gacha I have ever seen. My only complaint is I wish the story would come out faster at least once a month. Other than that if you're free to play there is enough here to keep you going. I might pay two half hours sessions twice a day and find it sufficient to level up my characters and weapons

Generous, but so stingy on every single banner. I’ve saved and spent 30k plus on the Halloween banners, ff9, and now the new years one. Every single time I can manage to get the outfits but MAYBE ONE of the feature weps because of the stamps! Only one I ever did well on was the first because I could reroll the account. 💯 they need to fix the rates. Free gems feels good to build them up, but feels so bad when you get crap with them. The tickets give better chances at the damn gold weps

I really have the opposite impression. Every banner has limited costumes with significant effects, and they have not rerun any of the costumes since the launch of the game. Also it’s extremely difficult to get dupes of the weapons while many of the weapons have pretty significant upgrades at 1 pink star. Also most banners coincide with a ranked event, so the game is pretty predatory to coerce people into drawing, and drawing for dupes as well. And with the way that the game works, the weapons you drew previously are often unusable for the next event, so the value of each weapon is pretty situational. If you wait to put a weapon on your wish list, the event may already be over, and the weapon may not be relevant until a similar weakness enemy appears in an event. Likely they’ll release a better weapon for that event anyway. They do give a good number of free gems, but I’m not sure I would use generous to describe the game. It feels very predatory with the banner and event structure, even compared to other gacha.

The goal of the game is for every character to be able to do everything which means the lightning arcanum costume for cloud probably wont come back but every other character will get one in time. None of the events requires u to have certain weapons to be able to finish it. If u want to compete yes there u are right, it is predatory.

I mean if f2p can keep up with events and finish 95% of the content without spending and don't NEED ob6+ weapons then the game isn't designed to be predatory. Costumes are great but there have been many instances where costumes aren't required to complete things.
