Ahoy my friends! Alright guys!! Here is the guide for the new MH3 (EX3) Silver Rathalos Fight!!! This fight is actually a LOT of fun!! I opted for a team where both my DPS are not using weapons stronger than OB4-5 to show you all that even with less powerful DPS weapons this fight is possible!! So here is a strategy for how to take down this tough fight against 2 bosses back to back!! Let's get it!! Cheers! And as always, Thank you for your support 🙏🏽🍻💯

Thanks. I used the same set-up for Tifa but brought Aerith with Fairy Tail and Kuruma Wand and Water-Cloud with me. Even with 3K healing I wasn't able to auto-run it, since the AI does a rather bad job at healing. But I cleared it without the timer showing up. I tried with Yuffie first instead of Cloud (with her magic dmg up weapon) but she doesn't have a lightning/water costume/weapon = so the damage was too low. Same result with Sephiroth and his half-anniversary weapon. But I had fun trying and eventually defeating him. ^^

I was like wtf! When silver ratholos popped up. Lightning materia was my main damage on Seph with kuja sword and aonibi

Many thanks to this guide with its very helpful recommended weapons and reasoning (Tiger Fangs OB6 lvl 110 + Shiva weapons ftw). I finally got the bosses down with 242.6k BP Cloud/Tifa/Matt and with 15sec to go (I was so relieved!!). It did involve a fkton of gil and uncap mats, but hey, I got this boss down, got the crystals and the weapons will stay leveled for the next EX boss. What's not to like? Thanks again!

Nice! I think this fight is fun and badass! I was able to beat the EX3 fight in CoOp (surprisingly) but not solo yet. I’m gonna take what you’ve done and apply as much as I can to my team

I really really liked this fight! It's longer and very MH vibes and overall just a lot of fun. Just beat this in coop and it was nice to be steadily working together with random people in coop for a long fight that wasn't just a cruise fest. Good luck out there!! I think with OB6+ weapons this should be pretty chill!

Note: silver Rath says poison resistance is effective against him, I know we have cure poison but resistance seems new

helpful guide as always. i had a bit of trouble a couple of days ago but then pulled for kimura wand yesterday (just OB1+costume) and came back to it today and it only took 2-3 tries.

I ended up using Red13 (using stardust ray to deal with the ATK Up), Zack (with his new costume and weapon), and Aerith (with Fairy Tale and Mythril Rod for the heals and DEF Up). Worked well, just took forever because I only had summons to break the Data Purge bar.

Also should add I was using Red13 with the Seaside Collar for the Lightning Res Down of course!
