Geez the rng needed for the Jenova clear is wild but that definitely worked. Between cloud being hit too much in the beginning or someone getting stunned in the sigil break it was rough.Managed 960k and jumped from 42 to 29 since I already had a decent score on baloir. Thanks for the tips and Asgeroth too of course.

Hell yeah nice fight!! Yeah the RNG is a bit frustrating at times haha, but i'm glad you were able to stitch it together for the solid clear! Congrats!

Took a lot of tries with the RNG start and not getting stunned before sigil phase but it works! Haha thanks mate!

Great improvements and love the different approach from asgeroth. I actually managed to improve my score and your kill on jenova made me revamp my nuke method as with 1 down on hp I never saw tail laser sigil but straight to preservation so added bandage sword to cloud to delay his nuke and then managed to kill during tail laser sigil. People's accounts all vary but different tactics to yield great results. Not sure I'll keep top 20 but with the improvements got 1.98

Ohh forgot to mention the cloud ult to reduce matk helped as well as less dmg = higher score

Tried out the Balior King and was able to snag about 40k more points, but don't quite have the DPS to get into 900k territory. It did bump me up about 10 spots, currently sitting at 63. I may do Jenova but I am prob safe to stay in the top 100.

I haven't played since Yuffie debut. Is the game still very grindy? Are they skip tickets yet?

No skip tickets yet unfortunately, game is still super grindy, other then integration of highwind/guilds (which are awesome) not a lot has changed. Some good quality of life's, stronger summons, but i think a lot of us are really waiting for something huge to drop and change it up

Anyone able to get off the cloud ultimate reliably before the tail laser on jenova? I’ve run this at least 20 times and I’ve only got it off on time once. Every other time, it is a second too late. Given the ultimate is time based, I don’t why this would differ, unless certain actions impact the timing of the tail laser. Im also on ios, so wonder if there are small differences vs steam?

It’s a tight window. There was a time when I was having trouble triggering it, but eventually I got to the point I could hit it each time tho I am on steam

@@BodhiJMSRyder Apparently if you switch characters more often, your gauge fills slightly faster. Seems odd, but I tried a run where I was maniacally switching like there is no tmrw (in practice, just one more switch than I was doing prior, lol) and I got it off. Really weird given it is supposed to just take 30 seconds and shouldn’t be impacted by switching.
