Can you explain about the radiator "float" significance? What is the problem with solid attachment to the frame. Aren't radiators usually bolted to the frame? Do you think the Shark Hide will withstand the environment and not corrode over time? The project is looking good. doug

Hi Doug and thanks. The Breeze auto lower mount insulates the radiator from the frame with rubber tubes. I think because it is all aluminum the worry is stress on it and subsequent cracking. I also installed the Breeze upper radiator hinge. The upper and lower Breeze mounts were inexpensive and just made sense to me anyways. The Sharkhide is good for raw aluminum, it will keep it from corroding if it doesn't get penetrated. It is easy to remove with acetone and re-apply. I like it because it's cheap and easy.
