Good call-out, thanks for pointing that out TPB! 🙏 These are the standard Faith calculation multiplied by your MA * N. Here's a list of N for each ability below: --- 💚Moogle - 12 💚Faerie - 24 Shiva/Ifrit/Ramuh - 24 Titan - 28 Bahamut - 46 Odin - 40 Leviathan/Salamander - 38 Cyclops - 50 Zodiark - 96 --- These have rates of success also using the standard Faith calculation multiplied by (MA + N). Here's a list of N for each below: Sylph: 150 Carbuncle: 150 Lich: 160 --- And finally Golem is unique: the Caster Faith multiplied by MA +200, then divided that by 100 for your success chance.

Super humbled that you enjoy the content, and I am jealous that you are experiencing the game for the first time! Welcome! 👋 I do have Monks planned later down the line, and seeing as how much I love the Job class I think I can bump him up a couple spots. They have amazing HP growth so leaving them as Monks while they level, and switching Jobs when you want some secondary skills to compliment, is always a decent route. Chakra, Aurabolt, Lifefont; all three of these skills I rate as top-tier investments for starting Abilities. Great thing about Monks is you spend less gil equipping them for battle. I prefer evasion accessories over power accessories, as I like to play more defensively. I hope this gets you started while you wait for the Monk's Job Focus to come up and I go into more detail on their class. Thanks again for stopping by, and be well! 🙏

My build. Summoner Lisa Brave 97 Faith 75 Summon Magic Math Skill Speed Save Maintenance Move MP-Up Wizard Rod N/A Ribbon Rubber Costume Chantage With her in my group no one dies. She gets up from fallen, moves MP Up, to cast Golem over and over again. Math Skill as you know is OP. I play around in combat winning without using Math Skill nearly all the time. Every now and then a lucky shot might force me to calculate.

my favorite support ability is the time mage swiftness, and it lets you just not take foreeever with the stronger summon spells.

Swiftness is almost essential with Summoners if you want to reduce how much time you spend charging, lessening the chances you will be vulnerable to attack! 👍

I could never tell a difference. Though turn 1 golem may help. It's an underrated defensive tactic which yay 4:50 though I'd only learn 1 elemental for the rod (I think monsters have weaknesses like goblins ice, those annoying mind flare guys lightning, and undead fire) and moogle as this takes forever. Always felt it was an early game class for golem, moogle, and ramuh/shiva/ifrit with an elemental rod to boost. It's support is crap to carry over compared to black mage arcane strength or flare with arithmetician, or time mage graviga damage cap to bosses, quick (can't be used with math skill) for any heavy hitter, or teleport (which helps thieves and archers get the high ground).

Summoner is my favorite job in the game. However, I always suffer what could be the best accessory for one. I usually go with Septieme for the Invisibility and the MA+1 and Auto Haste. I know haste it's not that convenient with a magic caster, but you just need to wait your first turn and the second turn comes very quickly, your summons CT is also immediate with Swiftness (or almost depending on the summon, except for the VERY slow ones) and as you start the battle invisible there is no problem with waiting the first turn. In your opinion, what could you advise to me as the best accessory for my Summoner? I lover her and I want the best for her 😂.

Considering that some characters unlock a job and gain massive job points in a job and some times even open up a new job simply by unlocking a job that is a prerequisite; is there a formula for 'power growing' a job progression?

How does the previous job formula add to the 'job gained' formula? I never have understood that.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the comment and inquiry, and I am not quite sure the formula to amount of JP you get right when you unlock a Job, but there is a feature called 'Spillover JP', where you gain JP equal to 25% of what other units gain in battle, based on their primary Job. So let's say you wanted to gain a bunch of Black Mage JP as a Knight, without switching to a BM; you can run a single Knight and four BM's, and the Knight will gain 25% BM JP every time another BM on your time gains JP. This is one of the topics I would like to discuss in an upcoming video, so great question to ask, and I hope I answered it for you! 🙌

My favourite magic class, it´s a shame it is not actually that good compared to some physical classes. The fact that is very fragile when it comes to HP while also needing high faith which makes them weak to magical attacks and requiring long charge times means there is a good chance your summoner will die before finishing their cast.

It is really is a labor of love to raise a Summoner, because their spells just look so great and have amazing potential. I prefer Shirahidori to do the guarding of my Summoner, but even that can't guarantee safety!

@@jeremymason8081 It also depends on who you are fighting against. If your enemies don't have ranged skills then it's relatively easy to keep your summoner safe. Also certain reactions abilities and equipment helps a lot.

Played this game all the time when it came out and when its remaster on the PSP came out. Had no idea the Summoner AOE damage spells didn't effect team members this entire time and because of that I avoided this job.
