As someone who did use the Trust system for all of Dawntrail, Krile actually does use aoe skills quite frequently. The others don't, but it's a step at least.

Well Krile is a Pictomancer and most of Pictomancers attacks are AoE. So she’s very useful to bring if you are doing Trusts.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna call that a lie. I was leveling VIper, so I used Trust on like 3 dungeons and always picked Krile, she doesn't AoE. Like, at all. And if she does, its once every blue moon. I was picking her because Picto AoE is extremely strong, so I went in expecting trash mobs to go down faster since that's the big downside of using Trust, trash mobs take forever since NPCs don't AoE. Nope. Exactly same speed with or without Krile. And ACT was showing she was doing around 12k DPS against 4-6 mobs when a person playing Picto can do do 40k+ by just using the hammer.

@taigaaisaka6305 You should probably watch the visuals then instead of an external tool. Krile uses aoe skills so much it probably would be as slow as having anyone else, even when there are only two targets, and I have never seen her use the hammer once. The picto skills have a pretty clear visual range to show they were used, though.

I haven't quite finished the MSQ yet (on lv 98 quests currently), but if I remember correctly from EW, the formula was fairly simple. To go from the first odd number level to the next (like 91 to 93), it was 5 dungeon runs of the level you started on (91 in my example). The first two runs would get you to the even numbered lv and then three more runs to get you to the next odd lv, where you can then start running the next dungeon.

Pro tip: you can queue for a job and switch to another job for frontlines. The job you queued up for gets exp. This way, you can level a different job and play PvP with the job you’re comfortable with.

I use MSQ, Fates, Hunting Board, and Trust mainly for my DPS jobs. Thanks to DT releasing two DPS jobs, Roulette queues for healers and tanks are almost non-existent (Alliance Raids are, surprisingly, only a little longer than normal.) I'm leveling one of each Role Type (including all 3 DPS types) so I can do all the Role Quests before finishing DT.

you can still claim levequest bonuses from the challenge log on combat classes 17 walnut lumber (16 level 20 leves in quarrymill, 1 level 25 in gridania) gives you room to do 3 random battleleves in mor dhona for that same 3.3m exp bonus once a week

Typically I worry about 2-3 levels a day, odds are dungeons even are roulettes, so I will do leveling roulette, trial, and frontline roulettes which should be enough for one level, I will use hunts for even

Regarding what you said at around 0:50 No. Square did not calculate the exact number of exp needed to reach level 100. I've played Dawntrail on two characters who started at exactly level 90. The first time, I had to stop at the level 98 or 99 quest towards the end of Solution 9 to gather exp. The second time I was stopped not once, but TWICE. The second instance was the same quest in Solution 9, and the other was the quest that showed up after arriving at the train station for the first time. Around level 96 or 7

If ur a healer or tank the third dungeon will get you from 95-100 in like 6 or 7 runs and it’s fast. Got PLD RPR and Sage to 100 in a few hrs that way. I don’t know why but it gives more xp than the later dungeons.

If you do a few extra roulettes and some FATEs (not even a lot), you can get two classes to 100. I got SCH/SMN to 100 AND PLD to 99 using just the MSQ before getting to the 100 quests, then did a few FATEs to get PLD to 100 as well. Went into the first week with PLD, SCH, and SMN at level 100 (since SCH/SMN share). People can do challenge logs and stuff, but MSQ/Leveling/24man/Frontline Roulettes are great experience (doing each of the 4 is ~3 levels per day for an alt Job, so ~3-5 days for level 90-100 per Job if you're patient and want to level at a relaxed pace), and you can chain run the Twelve/Pantheon 24 mans for 11 mil xp, which is really good leveling as far as level 98 or 99 (and even for level 100), wearing your Azema Earring, having rested experience, and eating a food for +3%. 24 man ques are fast for healers AND for DPS Jobs. And at level dungeon for odd number levels (91/93/95/97/99) the dungeons that unlock at that level are good for 40-50% of the level, and healer and tank ques are quick.

Definitely do daily roulette, but Z3 is the best EXP/HR hands down. Work tour way to Z3 and reap the rewards. You also get lock boxes and clusters for loot.

All of these methods involve actually playing the jobs.. who has time for that? Just do 1x daily frontlines. You get the exp on whatever job you que up as, and can swap to a job you actually want to play once you zone in. You will get roughly two levels exp every 3 days, and you don’t have to play any of the jobs you don’t want to. Otherwise crystal conflict is good to, it’s about a level an hour, depending on que times and match duration.

I saw Bozja/Zandor mentioned, which was my favorite place to level, and was sad to discover as soon as you hit level 90 experience is massively reduced. At level 89 I was getting 2.1 million experience for a Critical Engagement and 850k for the fates. As soon as I hit level 90 I was getting 336k for Critical Engagements and 35k for the fates.

I chose to level a Pictomancer before starting the MSQ and I was almost able to keep my Warrior leveled with my Pictomancer by taking turns with the MSQ quests, but I had to stop around 96 on the Warrior because the MSQ out-leveled it. Once I hit 100 on the Picto I did a couple roulettes on the Warrior to hit 99 and I continued on with the MSQ. It probably would have been better if I leveled the Warrior sooner to catch up rather than just continuing on with the MSQ on the Pictomancer until hitting 100.

Also, if you are missing like, 2mil xp or something, make sure you discover every part of each zone, when you discover a zone fully you get like 500k xp roughly nice if you are in a pinch and dont wanna do more fates

Edit: It's way more complicated as almost all potencies got changed in DT. Just go 3+ for aoes unless you're struggling with agro on tank. Not a bad guide, but a quick note about aoes. As a general note for aoes, 3 minimum is great advice... But with the exception of white mage, the other healers and all tanks get a benefit out of aoe-ing 2+ enemies unless it got changed in DT (SCH is still 2+ after DT). I'll check the skills in a bit to see if they were changed.

The actual dps would vary due to dots, ogcds, long cooldown effects like inner release or living Shadow, and resource based like Fell cleave... etc.

I just equip my dawntrail pre-order bonus earring and spam Aglaia. why? because the earring works above level 90 if you level sync to level 90 or below on a dungeon, the earring doesnt care that you're level 95+ as long as you're level 90 when you recieve the exp reward for completing the alliance raid, and since Aglaia is the easiest alliance raid at level 90 its the perfect one to spam.

FATEs are bananas this expansion. Im getting 525kish per FATE, and the boosts are big, and Forlorn mobs seem to be popping up a lot more often. I got my WHM two levels in a little over in an hour with a full group instance hopping when the zone goes empty. We werent organized, people were coming and going. I loooooove FATE grinding anyway.

I think it's important to mention that you stated the FC buff is 15% when in fact it is 10%. The squadron buff is 15% and they do not stack so if you have both just use your squadron buffs.

Frontlines is like half a level, and it only takes 45 days to get the max reward per season (4 months long). So far I feel like MSQ Roulette has given me half a level each time, and it could be tank privilege bu5 Leveling roulette has been good to me. I'm just now getting to lvl 92 MSQ but after doing 100% of the map and tackling all the quests in the first two zones, my WAR is 100 and DRK just dinged 97 😂 I'm going to have to start funneling quest and hunts to GNB so that I don't waste any MSQ exp

MSQ is definitely not calculated well for xp. I have done nothing but MSQ, I was missing around 7 mil xp for lvl 99 MSQ, so i precisely reached lvl 99 and started MSQ again, I have hit 100 before even finishing lvl 99 MSQ quests. Not to mention you have to do lvl 100 MSQ quests after as well.

Working fine for me. ReShade, the FSR2 mod and Dalamud all working. If you just use ReShade I don't see why it wouldn't work, it was working in the benchmark already. Now, you mentioned shaders, and some shaders aren't working for me, for example SMAA/FASMAA, maybe some of the LUT ones, but "CinematicLUT" works I believe. If you're struggling with UI masking, don't use KeepUI, you're better off using the REST addon for ReShade, there's a version especially for FFXIV.
