Not quite, he's done the first 6 to get to rank 2 then starts at 0/60. the fate check marks count as a 10 count when you go on to the 11th fate(21st, 31st, so on) So at this time, he's done 6.

After reaching rank 2 you have to do another set of 60 so in total it's 66 fates per area

For Labyrinthos you did the initial 6 fates in rank 1 rhen it changed it rank 2 where you needed another 60 to get to rank 3 but haven't done any there yet

I hate grinding those fates. I mostly do them between msq or queues or to lvl up my SMN whom I kinda lost while lvling RDM and GNB with msq only. On top of that I always get the gemstones full while still on fate nr 40 or something in an area bc I don't have a crafter over 80 so I lose tons of them. There should be more stuff to buy between rank 2 and 3 but okay. Thx for informing me, the mount is definitely worth the grinding! 😁👍

i just started on this and its a great way to flood my mind with my WAR mitigation when my brain starts overthinking while im playing FF14. i honestly just wanted the Old Sharlayan orchestrion roll but i realized i needed the nice housing lamps and glam from this soooooo i'm down the FATE hell haha. will eventually do the SHB ones too once i made all of EW maps to rank 3

In Shadowbringers, getting all your shared fates was really useful because in Eulmore and the Chrystarium you get vendor access to really useful furniture that you can sell for big money on the market board. I did all the shared fates in Endwalker expecting the same. I was WRONG. The stuff you get from the Radz-at-Han and Sharlayan vendors are utterly useless for decorating and worst of all they are untradable. So, you can't sell any of those things on the market board. So, basically I spent hours upon hours grinding fates to get access to vendors that have nothing I want or need and nothing I can sell either. It's not worth it.

If you are a crafter it is 100% worth it. For that leather goods alone that are sold from the vendor. Or you can sell that stuff on the market board. Plus you get a nifty mount 🙏

I am a crafter but I mainly craft furniture. I don't craft gear. I'm a decorator which requires me to be a crafter since hundreds of millions of Gil worth of furniture go into each housing build. It's true that you can buy some of the crafting materials from the gemstone vendors but to me that's not worth doing 396 fates just to get access plus however many fates to have enough gems to buy stuff. I find it easier to just send my retainers to get stuff for me as I have thousands of ventures (from seals) just from dungeon drops and quick ventures. In Shadowbringers, you could buy Rope stanchion or tomestones of frivolity (smart phone) which go for 100k on my server in Eulmore. Some of the Orchestrion rolls would cost over a million at the time I finished shared fates in ShB. Now they are still like 400k. In EW pretty much everything you can buy from gemstone vendors that would be worth a lot of Gil is untradable. The only thing I really wanted from the Gemstone vendors was the nekropolis table in Ultima Thule and the town night theme. I bought 2 of the tables taking one for my own house and planning to sell the other. But the table is untradable, so basically, I just have a table sitting in my inventory I'm not gonna use and none of the vendors have town themes OR night themes. It just feels like I wasted a lot of time on doing the fates.

Uh have you tried maxing all of the zones out and buying bicolor gemstone vouchers? Because those go for a lot on the market. Costs 100 gemstones for each, so about 8 fates per voucher. 100% worth it, especially because you can level at the exact same time.

These were an absolute grind lol. Def worth it in the long run tho. Get lots of crafting materials and level some alt jobs.

I just got super frustrated with the FATE grind parties since they kept jumping between instances leaving 2 out 3 of the instances totally F:ed for people who ain't actively farming... It wasn't fun too have a FATE spawn right next to you and see it's congested with enemies scaled for 10+ people. Especially before unlocking the riding map(Honestly after that i didn't care about FATES untill 90).

Make sure to get those “Riding Maps” the moment you can buy em. Every zone has its own map so be sure to get them. I believe it’s beat base-expac, speed increase. Riding map speed increase Most likely as we close in on 7.0, a boost in speed

@@BunBossFFXIV Go get the riding maps. They increase your mount speed even while flying. once you get mount speed up it's a nightmare not having it.

@@BunBossFFXIV 2 star mount speed doesn't matter. 1 star does. Besides bicolor gemstones soft cap at 1000. You should be spending them until you max each area out then buy the vouchers for the mount or else you are just sitting on a useless currency. BTW that mount will take over 3000 fates to get. So it's a long grind.

Only difference ive noticed between solo fate full party fate us you get a limit break in party that can be used kill the big boss spawn fate mob faster.

Sells well? Nah these selling cheap nowadays. I'm not sure what sever you are on but a stacked of 99 goes for 40k on gilgamesh. Unless you mean they sell quick then forget what I said and laugh at me. But I will agree with using these while leveling a dps

since they buffed fates and dungeons xp. There is faster ways then bozja for 80-90 now. a party of even two dungeon spamming is faster for xp now.
