some corrections: 29:21 - stingrays can knock back solo players too 32:10 - matamatas also cast a point blank aoe after the conal (telegraphed so still an easy mob) 42:18 - flamebeasts' blistering roar goes through los, get behind it, if you try to los you WILL die 47:22 - hecteyes' catharsis isn't an explosion per se, just a giant aoe (as in, it'll still be alive after the cast unlike self-destruct) 1:00:16 - the conal aoes can also be aimed at the boss' intercardinals, it's etiher/or (you can see it for a brief moment in the footage a minute later) 1:02:10 - you can run in a circle in the middle around the outside of the boss' hitbox and be safe, not necessarily a correction but useful to know source: i've solo cleared twice, party cleared three times

cleared solo a couple days ago after going on a Deep Dungeon high while waiting for Endwalker since news of a new Deep Dungeon was now official, but still really enjoying the guide! I like how much more enjoyable this is on non tanks due to lower auto damage so some classes REALLY suffered. Also funny thing I notice was 37:40 "They have tail whip" *edited to change to tail crack* **cast is called tail swing**

For the Thunderbeast, they have an animation for their cast, same as the Vanara. The Beast goes slightly lower. But the real tell is their tail. It starts wagging in a circular motion.

I just wiggle w/ aggro. If they stop rotating towards you then they're casting.

For anybody curious, the Ymir and Drake deal a set amount of damage back to you upon receiving physical damage while their buff is active. I tested with my group, for science of course, and took some odd 275k damage after smacking one with my SMN book. Seriously, don't hit them.

The Ecliptic Meteor from the Behemoth from the 1-10 floor set is not necessary lethal. Tanks can take 3 of those unmitigated, or up to 8 with some forms of defensive CDs. Non-tank can take 1 with a steel or the HP increase floor buff. Same with the 21-30 Orthosdemolisher.

Piggybacking on the discussion you had on SotR, I am enjoying this one more than the previous two. To the point where I am actually tempted to try soloing EO. Beyond tempted... currently on 41-50, just waiting to have the right mindset to continue.

As someone who had their parties' run ended by it, Spectres (Floors 85-90ish) Surrounding Burst is SURPRISINGLY HUGE. I'd say keeping *just* out of melee range is ideal for ranged classes, to avoid sweeps, but also to get that wee bit of leeway to get the hell outta Surrounding range. Also they can't be stunned. Whee.

for 3 man we dreaded 100 til it ran out and the tank and other player had an onion knight and it melted not seeing everything.. 90 boss it was important to move the moment the moment an aoe was glowing indicating it went off not after hence you'd likely not be quick enough either. With 3 man and 1 onion knight and steel on our rdm and smn while the tank didn't steel we had half the bosses health down before the nearly full floor aoes went off. Being around the middle made a huge difference to maneuver to each aoes correct spots quickly for safety. not gap closers do not work well with going under the boss. Sprint in if needed. Stack together when placing the aoes down also and slowly move it across to the otherside. watch the aoes along the way and remember to use eureka orthos potions after being hit. You'll get lots of these through fragments use them for this.

I'm kinda new to deep dungeon and i need to know: If im aiming for the solo 1-100 title, do i have to do it all in one shot or i can take pauses between 10 levels ?

You only have to do 10 floors at a time.

As long as you clear without dying along the way, you can take a year between each set of floors. Your run has to start on floor 1 tho

I think one of the things should be mentioned that although this is a good guide for every set of floors, it should be mentioned that players should try increasing their aetherpool gears with friends or party members first before tackling 1-100 solo. I thought of doing it from scratch since I just cleared TOP and lo and behold my dps and armor can't even defeat the 10th floor boss even with the damage and armor buff.

I am a dangerous walking enemy in 51-60 Also the bugged animal is only bugged as far as we can tell when doga is out and petri him then it will do the insta kill attack I am convinced without doga the bug don't exist because Finh did omni and never had the bug since doga was not out ever.

Great guide! Looking at the Twintania footage a few times, it looks like the twisters appear exactly were you are when the cast bar finishes, not the position 1 or 2 seconds before the cast finishes.

Nothing prepared me for the amount of health enemies have in here. Takes me like 30-40 seconds floor 1 with level 0 arms/armor to kill each enemy.

With how Excalibur looks, and where they had the original ff1 WoL armor, they should have had an updated WoL armor that mimics XIVs QoL from ShB, that you got forna mix of shards and aetherpool that maybe had an bonus in this deep dungeon. On top of that why can't they add a logos action equivlant to deep dungeons??!? That would make it so friggin fun like do that and add optional duels that let you skip to the next tier of floors instead of floor climbing. That'd be so cooool.
