Spent a couple years Gil chasing, save your time. The housing isn’t worth the headache. If you want fast gil gather some friends and do level 90 treasure maps.

Exactly. I have 450 million and can't get a large house due to lottery so whats the point of having invested so much time and energy making gil? It's just a number that does nothing for me. Maps especially on day 1-7 of new patched craftable aesthetic gear is massively more fun and rewarding.

As much as I love weekly videos, if you’re finding it difficult to maintain weekly ffxiv content, particularly with the new longer patch cycles, you could switch up and do bi-weekly videos for ffxiv, allowing yourself to have a break between videos or create other videos on the off weeks such as highlighting other games or guides for other games your passionate about. The devs have said many times that they designed the game to be fun but to allow people time to enjoy other games between major content. After all, ffxiv isn’t the only game Square Enix makes so of course they want to make it possible for their player base to enjoy other games they make (and maybe their competitors games too 🙂) and they don’t want people to get burned out. Creating alts helps me a lot but it only goes so far, sometimes you gotta just step away and try something else for a little bit. Do what’s best for you. Also, this new tool looks awesome, can’t wait to try it out!

you can build nothing since it relies on universalis (which is less than useless) to pull data. the concept is great but the source its using for the calculation is 80% of the time unreliable

ima be honest i made 3mil a day for like a week. 9 stack items are the way to go. i sold rolanberry for 868 6 stacks bought em for 26 gil. made over 400k on those alone. classical gear was going for 17k on a server, on mine was 90-100k. I bought 1 set of everything. (body head 2rings etc) short sold it 10k under and made about 500-700k a whole set x3. Have enough for my mansion now

I may have missed it. Is there a specific way to search for an item across marketboards on this? If I wanted to buy a certain item and wanted to see if it was cheaper on other servers?

I was excited to try this, but on a big pop server like mine the data from universalis is too old to be useful. I checked on 20 different items it says was good buy, all of them were already gone. Without live data you would have to look for items that rarely ever sell to be useful i guess.

So I want to be ready for 6.2 what should I spend my scrips, tomes, and be farming, etc for that patch? I am sure they follow a pattern and I understand this will all be predictive and no guarantee but if I spend a whole patch worth farming and stockpiling it will be that much better.

It sounds like an awesome tool but unfortunately I cant seem to get search results. I've tried on different browsers and made sure my vpn was off but the page will load for about 10-15 minutes before giving a lost connection error. I joined the discord so hopefully there will be an update where I'll be able to use it before everyone gets a hold of it.

Sadly, even on using this tool, once a few people catch on they post their stuff for cheaper so it gets taken first. So, unless you are treating it like day trading, you're not going to get much of a profit. Also, be wary of armor items. Those tend not to sell very well, so even if someone, or many people are selling them for an insane marked up price, it doesn't mean it will sell necessarily. The people that are gullible enough don't have the gil to drop on something that expensive. The people who do know what's up know they are essentially getting ripped off. So for I've made a few hundred thousand, but I'm just putting this hear to explain my current experiences with the tool thus far. Crafting consumables tend to do better it seems.

Idk why you would get hate for saying there isnt enough content. There really isn't anything aside from like, ultimate's that appeal to a small part of the player base. Leveling to 90 on all classes is kind of tedious and doesn't amount to anything unless you are a specific completionist person. Don't mind the hate, make vids on other stuff and stream games. Do what you enjoy!

If you are experiencing burnout, it is better to stay off FF14 until the next patch/big patch. In terms of guides and content, you could look into your twitch stream or discord and do a polling on guides people would like to hear about. Remember this game is 9 years old from ARR. Lots of guide can be made. You could also change up the rate of content making. 1 video weekly can get you feeling burnt out fast.

I would be exceptionally careful promoting third party tools on a youtube that has not only what server you play on but proof of that and your character name. I know you mean well....but it's third party tools such as these that are ruining the game and it's challenges. Having played the game since the Original 1.0 vs. you could call me a FFXIV purest. The game presents many challenges, not just from running dungeons and high level content but also from learning the ins and outs of the daily mundane grind. Life as well as this game is all about daily challenges and learning how to over come them......without resorting to cheating.
