Another thing that helps is when you select the item you want to make, in this case the meal for the levequests, you can select raw materials list, when that window pops up you can change a few settings like selecting how many you wanna make, and it shows how much material you need, that way you can get the exact amount you need, you can also click the lock symbol to make it stay on your screen while you are doing other stuff, that way you dont have to keep going back into it to check what else you need

Doing the clan hunting marks daily will get you quite a bit! The ones in the crystarium get you 17,500 daily (minus the little bit to travel if you teleport to each place) and that’s just the hunting marks there! You can turn in the sacks of nuts for special items you want or you can use it to get things to sell on marketplace. Well worth it.

I don't have a passive money maker but I do have a money saver some people can take advantage of. Level Blue Mage. You don't need to like dive all the way in, but if you can get it leveled and get even a basic spell selection which I found pretty easy solo, you can do Masked Carnivale for allied seals and buy Aetheryte tickets solo. You get around 120 a week doing that which can save you a ton of money. Even if you only use them on teleports that cost you minimum 1k gill that's still 120k gil you don't waste. I have my teleport threshold set to pop them at 350 (was 500 till my FC started running reduced rates) and I'm consistently seeing my gil go up just from doing my roulettes and beast tribe quests just because I'm not throwing it all away moving from place to place. Wesk Alber's guide is super good for solo leveling and he points out good spells to get along the way, but if you can get 1 person to help you, you can cheese out the levels inside of an hour or two for another option.

Ambrosial waters and Annite is the name of the game, they are used for everything basicly and very easy to just farm. Being located in Elpis means you are also able to gather Stonehard water and Spices without teleporting around, gathering collectables are optional, but they still have fairly decent returns. The thing is that the markets are so overflowing atm. you really want to farm stuff you use for consumables, such as spices and waters aswell as Ephermal nodes to break down for Sands. When it comes to leves, I'd say the best things to do are Craftman's Draught's, especially if you bought out tons of Petalouda Scales after the FATE trains made people unsure what to spend their gems on. Personally I just have my slav... i mean retainers collecting mats for me. I just try my best to avoid using crystals since those are probably the least fun part to farm and making stuff which requires pre-crafts can really start to affect returns if you do leves daily. Ofc you do get some water and Fire crystals from the cooking leves about 40 fire or water, however you get 89 lightning or water crystals regularly from command draughts. You lose 80 gil per leve turn in, but earn quite a significant amount of crystals back... Crystals are always in demand, so if you think you have a overload of them you can always sell them. Given the prices on my server atm. I would gain about 2.6-3.2 k gil on average on top of the Gil earned from the leve itself, just by selling off the extra crystals.

Just a very quick tip: You can make exactly the same amount (around 10k) with those leves by just completing lvl 80 deliveries. The lvl 90 and 80 leves all give the same gold if you give HQ items, the only benefit with lvl 80 is that you can immediately use the skill that brings HQ to 100% so you can just double groundwork and finish crafting faster.
@RunePlaysGames2 жыл бұрын
You're right, provided you have the inventory space needed to account for your leves. If you got 100 allowances accumulated, it's a nightmare to input. main benefit for Tsai is ease of repetition, and ease of gathering materials

I looked into this Method. Don't let picking up the quest fool you, it does actually give 9.5-10k (HQ). However, It requires 3 items for BSM/CUL which are still the best ones. So you don't really save time on craft time if you are fully geared 90 (with or without melds). It does save you time if you don't have gather retainers leveled up / geared. So far from my research, (Mangalomania "lvl86") BSM leve quest is the best one for both time and craft speed. giving avg of 10.5->11k Gil each. Retainers can gather everything at a decent rate as well (fully geared).

Hey Fur Daddy, here’s a good video idea: explain to your audience on how to keep markets from crashing such as heavily undercutting people. On my server, materia was selling for about 10k a pop, within a few hours they’re down to 2k each. This is because people are selling large amounts of materia and undercutting by at least 1k. They want to make fast money but what they don’t realize is once they make that fast money, there’s no more money to be made. Explain the importance of undercutting by 1 Gil or even listing as the same price as your competitors. That way markets don’t crash and items aren’t heavily undervalued. I really wish Square would implement an item minimum/maximum. Minimums keeping markets from totally crashing to shit and maximums would help with people selling Gil through the MB.
@savageslayer34342 жыл бұрын
If you're not a treasure map fan and don't want to baby-sit and spam a macro, another fairly decent way to make gil is to farm the mats for any items from these gil-making videos. Whenever these come out, there's a huge spike in demand for the materials that go into the leve turn-in items since a lot of folks either don't have gatherers and don't want to bother.

I gave up on combat gear fast. X and IX Materia was good for about a week or two after the patch hit, and now its pretty cheap again. Now I just stockpile all my clusters from hunts and spare materia for the next patch, id advise you to do the same, you’ll make much more gil in the long term. You can still make good cash, I dont really camp the MB, but I manage about 500k-1 mill a day just from having cornered a few niches - housing items like slats and leather sofas and planters are real popular. Im considering starting some housimg item prep for 6.1 - a loooot of people are going to get houses when Empyrean becomes available, and will need furnishing items. Same with some glam - pick a couple items you see people wear a lot, check the mb sale history to see how many are bought every day, undercut your competition by a penny… profit :)

I usually just run in circles in coerthas. Killing the Karakuls/Sheep give you fleece, fleece are one of the most discouraging steps in WVR leveling only really topped by diremite webs. The good thing about coerthas is that there's a spot east of camp dragonhead which also have a abundance of wolves running around(and some ice elementals). So running in circles with a job able to dispose of them quickly, ex. a lvl 80+ BRD can kill them in one shot. Nets you Fleece, karakul skins(w/e), wolf fangs and ice crystals. Wolf fangs are a ingredient in the superior spiritbond potions which pretty much always are usefull for both personal gain and selling... currently 1 wolf fang sell for 890 gil on my server because no one ever bothers to farm them... I usually just turn them into spiritbond potions, since the other materials are really cheap(or easy to farm) and the potions(HQ) themselves sell for about 4.5k-5k gil on my server, so one craft = a easy 15k gil, unless you plan to do some spiritbonding and sell the materias. Fleece usually go for around 250-300 gil a piece on my server, It's not a super fast sale however and people who buys them usually just smaler stack sizes to get enought cloth to get past the step.

Venture squadrons loop. You send your retainers out on quickies. Turn in all gear you obtain. Use those seals to buy more ventures and to send out your squadron. Now here's the thing: ignore the manual missions unless you can max that mission. We are looking for either max synergies or just easy out stating missions. With maxed synergies you are going to trigger your squad mates skill 100%. This is ideal. But just being able to complete 100% a mission is better than a gamble. You'll also want the following skills in some order: Scrips(both ideally but I find the gather ones better since I don't care for gathering collectibles) Clusters(use them or sell them, w/e) Materia( it mostly Maxes at 5s but I still get the odd 5 worth something for me like cps for overmelding) Seals( this one is critical, it reinforces the loop) Once you've got atleast 1 scrip and 1 seals synergies run those two and then sub in others as needed. It's a rather nice passive loop due to the fact you set it for like 18 hours and then just need to look in on it once a day honestly. It is rather intense to get started honestly but it's an OK passive rig when up and running and since se seems to not be updating it anytime soon it'll be a done set up once you are. Another non-marketboard method : Dungeons (roulettes, unsync …) => GC Seals. You can then use the GC seals to buy stuffs on sell them on the marketboard, or buy items and sell them to npc with a 60% rate. You can make 1k5gils per minute. I don’t recommend it as main farming method, but solo dungeons for the tank achievements are a good way to make a few millions along the way ;) Buy Cordials/coke etc (check your marketboard and see what’s the best) and MB sells are still better than npc, but it’s still decent.

Tip I've been using for years since I first started playing; Shamelessly ask for some gil in Limsa. You'd be surprised how many gil rich people hang out right by the market boards and are willing to part with some dough.

Not sure if it would be worth your time but Eureaka 20 + is awful. 1 - 20 was enjoyable but everything after is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow and tedious. Maybe a video on how to level up pagos and such. Or possibly a video on how treasure hunts work in greater detail. Lingo and all. idk just some ideas. Anyway love the money making videos. I'm dirt poor and trying to make my first mill. So i can snow ball it.

Usually there's no quick way to earn money. However if you haven't leveled up your retainers I'd suggest do so.... Quick expeditions can give you rather rare items which can give you some extra bucks. Depending on how many retainers you got I'd suggest Botanist = Miner -> Combat job -> Fisher then repeat this beyond four. Once they are up to speed you can simply just send them off to gather some materials for you to sell or use. With decent gear you get more stuff each time you use them to harvest stuff. It will never be quicker then you going out on your own however. Anyhow the most solid way to earn steady money atm. are by being a crafter, but not really through selling items on the Market board. Doing 42 leves(maximum) a week, pref. the craftsman's command draught one(86 alchemy) gives you 420 000 gil a week just turning in HQ items. Selling the extra crystals can net you about 2.2-3k extra per leve, It's not much but well all rivers eventually lead to the ocean. The good thing about this leve are that It's easy to HQ and the materials are also very easy to gather. Being a crafter also gives you the benefit of doing the weekly deliveries these give a boat load of scripts you can use, however depending on your status as a crafter/gatherer you might just want to use them for your own sake. But once you are done you can use them to buy materias or materials which sell for a decent amount for little to no effort on your behalf... especially at 90 when all crafts are two clicks. If you are not a crafter, there's plenty of farmable resources from enemies. Especially older expansion enemy drops are often in relative high demand, since ShB/EW have them sold by gemstones. So farming hides, wool etc. usually have decent pay-outs. Expert roulettes with "role in need" bonuses also give decent returns, you get a set amount of Gil for just rushing trough the roulette itself but also materia which still is fairly decent money... not massive amounts, but decent.

i used to farm in the diadem and sell the items. some of them goes for 300 to 600 per item. i made like 1.5 mil in 2h. But these stupid undercutters, sold their items for 40 gil so from 600 to 40 gil. i hope the pc of this guys explode lol
