Quazii, nodes respawn after you gather at 10 other nodes. There's a good spot for gathering Island Vines near the northbound river, with mud/sand/copper nearby. I tested and confirmed it there. What this means is that, ideally, your gathering loops should be at least 11 nodes long.

Also the crops don't die if you don't water them, they just stop growing once the soil dries, and start again next time they get water. As per the help menu, soil dries in ~36h.

I hope you enjoy SB. Personally it's one of my favorite because of its post content and it's side content of trials and raid. I can understand that the msq is not as strong as HW but it does set the foundation like what ARR did to HW.

Enjoy the journey don't rush it, everything u see in 6.2 is not going anywhere u will eventually have ur own island as this is for all players once u they beat endwalker, the content in endgame will always remain but the first time experience doesn't so enjoy it all u can ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

One potential tip: keep 1 slot in your pen empty, because there are rare animals that you can go catch. I've seen a special ground squirrel called a star marmot and an apkallu called the apkallu of paradise. They have a high chance of escape though but it should be possible to catch these early rare animals with the basic net.

So its actually not necessary to keep 1 slot empty. I had a full pen - caught a Rare Pokemon - and then i was asked which of my animals i want to release to make space. :D

@@wolf5802 Can confirm this is the case, it does not punish you for capturing "too many," even if it hurts to let your animal friends go after naming them and everything ;_;

I'm very disappointed that minion interactions don't seem to work. Sadu and Magnai seem to ignore each other on the island, for instance. 😢

I naively got the furball minion without thinking and realizing that I need the seafarer's cowries for my island progress. :') Now I have to slowly earn those back so I can progress further. At least I managed to get to rank 5. XD

That black sheep is a rare. He's only there on certain times of the day. When I did try to capture him that is when he spawned he got away from me. 😔 but I'll keep trying. Also all those rewards.......I'm never gonna leave my Island. 🏝 🌞

Overall the current island content is about… 2ish hours long? I’m on the MkIII robot but don’t know what tools it wants so I’m assuming it’s something in further island level or in the future.

Just a note. at 11:30 you said petting improves the animals mood. This is not the case as the index tells you petting has no gameplay effect. It's just there for fun.

Node spawning: basically there are only so many nodes that can be harvested at any given time, once you hit that number, the first one refills

You most likely need to rank up / level up your island more. Currently I'm 3/4 away to rank 5 where I expect to get more buildings/upgrades.

That's where I am too. I figure I need more levels. I'm about 4k xp from Sanctuary level 5. I just expanded my garden and pasture to rank 2 so I get 10 slots in each. My Cozy Cabin is also rank 2. I have my workshop set to build for the next 3 days, hoping that pushes me close to Sanctuary level 6.

It took me a little shy of an hour to finally figure out how the workshop really worked. Once I understood it, it wasn't bad. Need to see more of the Market supply/demand to understand just how things changes short and long term.

Sadly, no cause you need to have completed Endwalker 6.0. But even a Lv 1 class/jobs can finish the quest cause they are not tied to any specific class/jobs.
