The issue with putting the animals and farm on auto, thats 300 a day so for a week that's a loss of 2100. If you're on every day already, may as well take 15mins to do the feeding and watering yourself.

Yep it’s defo gonna slow down your cowries, i agree. just an option if people want to make things feel less grindy

Yeah everyone will have to decide for themselves whether it's worth it. But for me, 300 blues/day to save me 10-15 min a day is an easy one. I'll also say in the beginning I just did crops. Imo everyone should atleast do crops since they will replant at the same time every time (with a 1h drift). Pasture honestly isn't worth it til you have stockpiles, and even then some will prefer manual to alternate feed. An agenda would sure be nice some day for pasture and crops so we can tell the mammets what to feed and plant on a daily basis.

Plus a 700 for the grainery so 2800, that's like a whole workshop day lost

I knew about the presents, I just use the guide everyone has been passing around. Day 1 rest and get on to set grove items for two days and check the guide again for last 3. Also to note, you can not release animals under caretakers so if you are full and see a rare you must end the caretaker first. I feel like the presents are counter to the core function of workshops, at least until you get all the one time rewards. Also there's a bugged patch of ground that you shouldn't be able to land on but can near the top of the mountain.

You know you can use the sprint macro to gather from you animals too? :)

@@MedievalMarty /targetnpc /ac "Duty Action I" /lockon /automove Locks on to the target, engages sprint. Bind a key to CONFIRM (NUM0 default) but you can't macro that so you still have to press another key :)

@@MedievalMarty You can also make a macro to auto mount too. /targetnpc or /tnpc /mount [NameOfMount] /wait 2 /lockon /automove I don't remember the exact command for abilities or mount names, so I let auto translate (when there are red and green arrows around a name) take care of that by pressing tab in the middle of whatever you're typing. You can also add a custom icon from abilities. Like my example: /micon or /macroicon [Expedient]

The automatic farming is great but I've tried the automatic animals caretakers and this is really BAD. They gave way too much food to the animals than necessary.

100/day cowries for automated crops is a worthy price but not the 200/day for pastures. I agree that the granaries replace your field gathering, as long as you farmed up a good 150 or so of everything.

I just want the lowest amts requirement preset so i only need my granary xD i dont care how long it takes to get cowries cause i got all mounts only need some glams and cosmetics. i just want to have it produce passivly cowries so when the next patch drops it already produced enough So tl,dr i look for the most basic preset and what granary to use xD

Two granaries plus the leavings from 20 animals racks up to a ton of materials. Maybe there are some things I can’t make in the workshop, but I havnt manually gathered anything in around a week

@@MedievalMarty what I do for even more automated workshop and less grindy feeling, is split the workshop in 3 phases. rest days, groove items, expensive items. I start a week with rest days as it's raid days so not much time for island for me anyway. 2-3 days craft simple items with easy to get mats, with a 4-6-4-6-4 preset to get groove up. last 2-3 days will be expensive items using rare mats, with 4-8-4-8 presets. Set it up for 2 weeks, make sure I have the mats for week 1, ignore week 2. Use granary to collect rare mats for week 2 and once done collect rest of mats for week 2. By the week end of week 1, I will manually go gather whatever is left for week 2. for extra laziness because I'm in no rush to get everything, I don't even bother with demand and use recipes that use flower or log as rare mat since granary mission for those also bring back seeds for the farm. use easy recipe that use the other mats coming from them and adjusting missions to other mats once I have enough rare mats. I barely spend more than 10 minutes on the week end manually gathering what I am missing for the next week of workshop items, and that's if I need anything at all. 12k a week with minimal work load and planning. Can likely boost it up by quite a bit by adjusting to demand. That kind of revenue for a super lazy way works fine for me. Didn't know about changing granary before full time ended so that's going to be even less manual gathering, thanks for that one!

I straight up am starting to hate island sanctuary. NONE of these menus appear. I’m about lvl 9 and absolute none of my mammets want to or allow me to automate a single thing

You have to right click the line item while talking to the mammet responsible for the automation.

Update your cozy cabin to the max lv. I believe it’s level 3 at lv9 and then they’ll have a recipe for you. Helps you progress your expansion of the island to

I disagree with your presets advice, in this video you've not even broke 7k in a week and you call that a lot. I've made on average 15k a week. All I do is spend 5-10 minutes checking out predicted demands and throwing the week together based on that excluding all other information. I only need to interact with my island 15-20mintutes tops a week.
