Fun fact: use '/doze' near benches and beds and your character will lay down on it, then use '/cpose' to change their laying pose.

I still find it so weird that every race has two different subgroups/variations, but only Hyurs got different emotes for each (midlander and highlander)

I think it comes down to two reasons: 1. Midlanders and Highlanders are the most “physically different” from each other of the subraces. Most subraces tend to have minor aesthetics differences: Au’ra scales, Lalafell and Miquote Eyes, Roegedyn skin color, but Midlanders and Highlanders have different body proportions. 2. Generally in games like these there’s an assumption that baseline Humans are going to be The most popular race or one of the most popular, so giving the default human more variety just makes sense.

Easily the best one, the face plant just kills me every time :D Male Roe second best, I've never seen it before, but gotta give 'em props for that. I wish more of them had silly little quirks like that, like the Miqos with their tail flicks, females with the "paw" licks/cleaning on wake up, and the males with the "cat wake up stretch" with all "paws" sticking straight out.

@@ThePhookas I think if they used those traditional Japanese pillows with the wooden platform it would make sense. It would lift some of the horn types off the bed enough to not stab it. Considering their origin location and migration path, it would make sense that they’d use them. The pillow itself is not uncomfortable if it’s made well and is your size. Now everywhere else you’re just going to have to suffer in unable to roll purgatory.

I've been playing as a female Au Ra since SB. Sure, I've tried other races for a bit, like a female Viera when ShB came out, but I've always switched back to my Au Ra.Long story short: I go to sleep as a female Au Ra and wake up as one too. 😄

I LOVE the Highlander and Miqo'te sleep and wake up animations the most! A shame we can't use theirs if we're a different race (same with standing and sitting poses, which I wish were used interchangeably between races).
