FFXIV - The Burn (before patch 6.5)

Final Fantasy XIV dungeon "The Burn" before the changes implemented to it on patch 6.5 on October 3, 2023.
*Unfortunately, SSD issues caused freezing of the recording in some parts of the video and I only found out after the patch went live.

This was before the second Nerf to the last boss, so many died over and over to the stacks and mist.

Shame tho because I liked how the last boss was still challenging somewhat before the nerf.

you mean to tell me SE Couldn't get Ai to even do this one The was we all had to learn it omg Learning healing it was fun but damn lol

iirc most of it was making it conform to standard attack icons for tankbusters etc

Through the 6.X series, they went back and modified a bunch of MSQ dungeons for Duty Support (since it was introduced in shadowbringers), to make them work better with the NPCs. 6.5 was just when it was The Burn's turn (along with Ghimlyt and Skalla). It's mostly the same, but I think Mist Dragon has a bit less HP after the change, because it's real easy to skip the Deep Fog mechanic (which to be fair, they barely skipped in this too). The Mist Dragon 8-way attack also just spawns randomly now instead of on players (probably because of NPC movement), and I think the ice puddles go away faster. The other two bosses also have tankbuster markers and a few other minor mech changes too.
