FFXIV - Ucob The Unending Coil of Bahamut in Endwalker - DRK PoV

This was done through PF on Aether datacenter. I was extremely sleepy and played poorly (I promise I will record another PoV where I don't make dumb mistakes with my rotation or forget to pop TBN in adds). I am going to write down my opinion on the encounter and how DRK feels
My thoughts in the encounter: Ucob definitely feels easier dps check wise. Things still hurt quite a bit but it always did in Shadowbringers. In this kill we did double shield healer, but I did a different kill with a regen/shield comp but I didn't record. We had a death to exaflares and still killed it way too fast (in the other clear I had, 2 people died to exaflares early on and it died during enrage).
Current Drk in Ucob: Defensive-wise it feels the exact same. What feels great is having delirium on 1 minute cooldown, it doesn't come up at really awkward times anymore (Nael dives) and you always debate if you should commit to using it or not. Delirium will come off cooldown at same time as blood weapon and for your advantage, if you know when the pushes are due to party dps, you can pre-pop Delirium a bit earlier on transitions so you know you're going to get full usages (make sure to have 70 or less blood gauge due to blood weapon existing).

Thanks for sharing this video with us, really helpful to learn how to play DRK in general. I don't do Ultimate/Savage, but just seeing how this job plays with such a skilled player is very helpful for me Thank you again ))

Hey, here's a screenshot of what I got i.gyazo.com/4aa3d2775a1bf2076ecd89b133dc616f.png Most pieces are 500+ ilvl except for the 345 gloves, boots and earring (you get the gloves from eureka and boots + earring from Swallow's Compass dungeon, meld dhit on these cause it counts). Everything else is crit+det pieces and I use pumpkin ratatouille as food (so 2.40 gcd if you count the sks from the relic weapon and food)

@@JaydenzOmega I'm curious, is it better to use lower ilvl gear like that, than just shooting for the best gear currently for Endwalker?

@@ZetaMAGES Some pieces yes since you can meld dhit (your gear has 0 dhit) plus tiering purposes. The relic from shadowbringers is automatically bis since you get a lot of extra substats (weapon substats cap at 127, so you can have bonus tenacity and sks on top of capped crit+det)
