FFXIV x Yo-Kai Watch Crossover Event 2024 Details!

Just started my FFXIV journey a few weeks ago and have never hear of Yo-Kai but ngl that samurai looking character looks cool as well as the plate border. Might need to take a much needed detour from the ARR MSQ for this.

Welcome to the journey!! I'd definitely say partake in the crossover event while it's available! This will be its 4th time back, however, there are a lot of cool glam items! Also, you can double down by leveling characters in fates while you work towards the event! Feel free to reach out if you have any XIV questions! ☺

I hope this is a cross over we can completely ignore. I don't even want to see this in it game. I hate when they cross over completely unrelated stuff. At least FF15 cross over was FF and they made it make sense.

All of the crossover events (non-raid focused) are ones that are completely optional. For this one, it's completely optional rewards. To each their own! That is completely reasonable - I feel similar in some ways but I'm personally less bothered when it's a silly cosmetic event that has no impact on the direct game.

@Pyra_Sydannia fair enough, I just don't personally like much anime, and this one never looked remotely interesting, so I'm just a little annoyed it was the one chosen I guess lol, personal opinion.

@@bingham81 Completely valid! I'm also not big into anime so I get where you're coming from. Fortunately I think the only time they did a more "mandatory?" type of crossover was for the Shadowbringers alliance raid with the Nier series. I ended up loving the raid series however I really wish they would stick to XIV related content for those things.
