Yo-kai never caught on in the west, it's cool to see that it's big enough in Japan to have continual cross-over events like this.

Yeah to be honest I never heard of Yo-Kai till FFXIV.

@@Manchild_Gaming I did this event four years ago when I came back into FFXIV, but I was in the middle of Realm Reborn so I didn't get the new weapons. This time I intend to power through Stormblood to get everything. (I'm sort of glad there aren't any new weapons as they would probably make you do Shared FATEs in The First and I'm not even close to Shadowbringers.)

@@Fransy385 Was that for anything past the first game? There was a lot of hype for it here in Canada for the first game, promotional content everywhere, then extremely little for the second & nothing after that.

Not if you have a drop rate like I did today, got the last 4 minions and mounts in less than 2 hours, I was getting an average of 2 legendary medals per 3 fates

I purchased all 17 minions from the event and thought that I would automatically be presented the mount once I did but I don't see it, where am I supposed to look to find them mount?

For the couch u need all 17 minions and weapons. After that achievement unlocks the mount I do believe.

First mount you get through your achivements once you collect the first 13 of them. The other half is done through the wepons.

Do you have to play the jobs to unlock the minion/gear? Do you have to actuall play as monk to get the monk weapons?

The different weapons are obtained by using a correlating minion. Current job doesn't matter

Great Video, though I fear that I won't be getting much of these because the yokai watch medals being silver and gold rating only.

Big tip just go as a tank and make sure your enmity buff is on. Rating is based on enmity. With a tank you should hit gold no problem everytime

You only really get bronze in a FATE if you fail it lol, it's nearly impossible

What's the drop rate for legendary yo kai medals?

To be honest im sure if a real drop rate has been determined, but it aint that bad. If i recall correctly i was like 1 in 5ish? sometimes worse sometimes better? Perhaps someone who has some data can chime in here to clarify.

Okay so it seems they have nerfed the drop rate.. got the last 4 minions and weapons in less than 2 hours, I would say I roughly got 2 medals per 3 fates. I got 3 off the first 3 fates I even did today

Eww yeah go as tank if it's busy or a dps if it's slow and blue mage if ya got it. If you only got a whm check for groups in part finder under "world" might help alot

I just got the last 4 minions and mounts in less than 2 hours, was getting 2 legendary medals for every 3 fates roughly and thats in the higher zones where fates take a bit longer. The drop rate is much better than it was during HW, that took me weeks

Why does No guide explains where to claim these stupid mounts. its like the 10 guide i watched and not a single one covers this issue. I allready collected all minions for my new char in this event and i have still no idea how to get the first mount that you are supposed to get after 13 minions because no one talks about it.

check your achievements to get the mount if you only did minions u have the first ghost mount then. =o)
